I love the food here, but literally every time I order (except maybe once), ingredients are missing from the food. And trust, I know the ingredients like the back of my hand bc I was a manager at Panera. I ordered a chicken Frontega panini. It’s missing the basil and the mozz cheese. When I order tomato or French onion soup, no croutons come with it. Most of the time the French onion doesn’t even have Gruyere cheese in it as it’s supposed to. I can’t count how many times my side item hasn’t been included in my order. When I Worked for Panera, I was a catering manager. I gave my clients my personal cell phone number. I guess that gave me a responsibility to get everything right. With Uber eats, nobody is “responsible” anymore, And apparently just giving you some of your money back makes it all okay. No, it doesn’t make it all OK. I used to go back out to each client, even if I was behind schedule with my others, if I got ONE tiny thing wrong. And honestly, I rarely ever forgot an item, or a piece of food, or a side item, because I knew I was the one responsible.
Hold yourselves Responsible, people. I don’t think I’m going to order again. If I get Panera again, I’m going to walk into the store myself even if I’m 20 minutes away, plus traffic. bc It seems that’s the only way the order comes correct….. if you corredt people in the moment and face to face. There is no reason to miss multiple ingredients nearly every single time I order.
I understand most of you are teens that work at the store. But all ya have to do is follow is the sheet above your head that shows you the ingredients on every single item of food. This is where being responsible starts. At your first, second, or third job. And managers, please start checking orders and holding your workers accountable.
Panera is (and has always been) way too expensive to not get the orders right. Losing customers isn’t in your best interest.
Oh, and the broccoli cheddar soup is wayyy watered down now. And the amount of meat on sandwiches and salads has gone down atleast .3 ounces. Tsk tsk. And much more is wrong , especially the price inflation when the service and food is getting worse. Standards are dang near McDonald’s-esque
SMH @ 2024 Panera and Uber Eats. Yall both at fault
Had to put my own cheese and basil on my frontega. As u can tell in the photo, that cheese is yellow lmao, not white like the mozzarella that was supposed to be on it. Oh, and I got ONE strand of an onion on my sandwich, per half. No lie. I’m so disappointed. I’m going behind the counter next time, posing as a new employee, and making my own dam food. That’s how little trust I have in you...
Read moreTerrible Experience at Panera Bread Hoboken – Harassment & Unprofessionalism
Our experience at Panera Bread in Hoboken on March, 29 2025 at 7pm was absolutely unacceptable. From the moment we arrived, we were harassed and rushed by a manager who showed zero professionalism and respect.
He followed one of us into the restroom, demanding to know if we were going to make a purchase, despite being reassured that we were. He then mockingly responded in Spanish, questioning our intentions. Just minutes later, he approached our table again, pressuring us to order while we were actively browsing the menu. His aggressive and intrusive behavior made us feel extremely uncomfortable.
When confronted about his rude and unprofessional attitude, he continued to act disrespectfully. To make matters worse, he was poorly groomed and unkempt, which only added to the unpleasant experience.
As a loyal Panera customer who frequently visits the Teterboro location, I can confidently say that this behavior is not reflective of the welcoming service I usually receive. The staff in Teterboro is wonderful, but the management in Hoboken was the complete opposite.
Panera Bread needs to seriously address this type of behavior. No customer should feel harassed or disrespected when simply trying to enjoy a meal. I do not recommend this location unless they take immediate action to improve their staff’s...

I had a very bad experience at the Panera Bread in Hoboken recently. I placed my order with a crew member who gave me a token, and I waited patiently. But no one ever notified me when my food was ready — they completely forgot to call my token. By the time I realized it and went to check, my food was already cold.
To make things worse, I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt — one of my favorite sandwiches — and they forgot the avocado entirely. When I brought this up to the staff, they initially tried to just hand me avocado on the side. Only after insisting did they agree to reheat the sandwich, but by then, the quality and taste were completely off. It didn’t taste anything like the fresh, flavorful sandwich I usually love.
As a big fan of Panera and especially this sandwich, I left feeling very disappointed and frustrated. This location seriously needs to improve how they manage orders and customer service. Cold food and missing ingredients are unacceptable — especially for the...
