Note on the atmosphere rating, this location could use a heavy-duty facelift. Particularly behind the counter, it appeared quite grimy. I ordered a bowl through the mobile app and it was ready when I got there about 10-minutes after I left my home. The bowl was very tasty, but compared to the amount of meat in it, which was miniscule, it was a near vegetarian experience. Now I would suppose that one could order extra meat, and should I return there, that would be an option, but I must admit that I was very disappointed with the portion-size of the meat. Other than that, it was delicious. Since I can't give it 3.5 stars on the scoreboard, I'll give it 4-stars, but I really mean 3.5.
One thing that I forgot to mention in my review is that basically, this is a cold dish. What ever included ingredients were warm or even hot from service are completely muted in temperature from all of the cold ingredients. So overall the presentation is cold. I would have preferred it to be warm or even hot. I should also note that if there was even an ounce of meat in the dish (my estimate), there should have been more, much more, and I pause to wonder just what the corporate standards are for their meat portions. I realize that expenses have increased and these type of restaurants are not themselves cheap to dine in. But, I would rather pay more than to have the meat portion infinitesimally small. I also priced out a bowl at their competitor and it was over $20.00 just for the bowl. My QDOBA bowl with drink was just over $15.00, which when I consider what I got for that price, is on the expensive side.
Another note, I rarely if ever follow up on the "response from owner" comments. It requires too much time and effort from me to follow through with a restaurant's customer service/corporate errors. The payoff for following up is not worth the effort if they cannot correct the actual problem. Note that they didn't even get my name correct.
Update: I went by there on 3-16-2024 and they are temporarily closed for a much needed remodelling. I've also been to their competitors several times and the food there is so much better. Qdoba really needs to increase the protein portions of their dishes if they want to compete.
After further thought, I have reduced my rating based upon my experience. Note that there re a multitude of bad reviews on this location and one would think that corporate would get involved and fix this location. But it seems that neither the restaurant nor corporate really care and I predict that this location will go out of business soon for an inferior product...
Read moreMy family and I came in a few days ago. There were three of us, no one in line ahead of us, no one in line behind us. The three ladies behind the counter acted insulted we would come in to order food. The lady at the first end of the line barely looked up at us, mumbled something inaudible and got frustrated with us for saying “I’m sorry what was that?” She then barked “what do you want?” We apologized (stupidly) and ordered. In to the next portion of the line, again, the girl in the middle station slapped the food onto our plates and barely looked up as she rolled her eyes when we asked for condiments. She then pushed our food onto the cashier. We saw a sign that read “free chips and queso when you join the rewards program.” We followed the instructions to join the rewards program. When we asked about the chips and queso, she replied we would “have to figure that out some other time” and gave us the total for our order. My mom then asked if we could add drinks to the order. The woman rolled her eyes, grabbed the cups, and repeated another total. Because my mom is too kind of a person, she still tipped the ATROCIOUS service staff 10% at a fast casual restaurant. While she didn’t have enough time to help us with the rewards program, she found the time to get herself a bottle of Diet Coke from the refrigerator.
We brushed it off and went to sit down. We noticed every table was dirty, the entire place seemed unclean and unkept. We wiped the table down ourselves with some napkins and got our food out. No surprise, it was lukewarm.
I came to write a review, and upon reading others’ experiences it seems this is the norm at this establishment. Bummer, we love QDOBA and we’re excited to have it again as there aren’t any in the area we live. Maybe this is the reason.
Needless to say, we won’t be returning. We did notice there was a Chipotle down the street, we’ll go there instead in the future. I recommend others...
Read moreOrdered a catering order for my sons rehearsal dinner. Send family member to pick it up he asked them if everything was there and they assured him everything was. Got it back to venue and 1/2 my order was missing. I called right away and they offered for me to come pick it up, I was an hour away and in the middle of hosting a dinner told them I wanted a refund for what I did not receive. She said she would have the GM call me that next morning. No phone call. I called after my son got married and again was told the GM would call. Again no phone call. I called the next morning and was told she was off I explained to at I lived 3 hours away and was leaving that day and needed this to be taken care of. They had the GM call me. When she did she accused me of being mean to her managers and that I was in the wrong. I never at 1 point was rude or mean, I was upset and frustrated that I had people to feed and not enough food to do so. She said I would get a refund within 7 - 10 days. Never happened. I wrote corporate to get this resolved and just got passed from 1 person that couldn’t or wouldn’t help me to another. I had dispute my charges on my credit card to get what was owed to me! I would never recommend catering here ever! Andrianna should never be a GM if she can’t give her customer respect and compassion for their mistake! Whomever the district manager is need a new evaluation of their job as well as they never tried to call me! Corporate sent them many communications of what has happened and they didn’t care not 1 but! I spent $400.00 on food that I didn’t get so please don’t make the same mistake, go somewhere else if you want great...
