I am a regular diner [take out eater since the pandemic] in this neighborhood. My experience is based on past 3 visits. I understand that there may be ocassional hiccups because we are all humans. But this review is based on my overall impression. I have been here 3 times over the last 2 months and it has been worse every time than before. This last visit forced me to come back and write about them so people know what to expect.
I placed an order over the app. I arrived 10 minutes after the pickup time stated in the app and immediately called them in the store as that is what they ask you to do for a curbside pickup. I was put on hold for 8 minutes whereas I only wanted to say I was there. Then they said they would bring it outside as soon as it is done. I kept waiting in my car and after 30 minutes, I was done being patient. I called again. They said someone will be right out. 10 minutes later, yes, 10 more minutes later a staff comes out empty-handed and says she is so sorry that someone else entered the store and picked up my food. It has been over an hour since I placed my order. I was furious and asked how long would they take to make my food. She said 10 minutes, she'll bring it right back. I said fine. I wondered if sorry is all they are offering or would someone offer a compensation at the least. She said she would have to talk to the owner. 15 minutes later, a short asian american lady comes out with my order. She holds my food at a distance and asked "do you still want the food?" I was like are you kidding me? I've been waiting close to an hour and a half and you're asking if I want my food? I picked it up. After all this time, nobody asked me what they could do to make up for their screwups. So I offered her an opportunity and asked if she was going to offer any compensation. She replied "I am so sorry. I am so sorry then turns around and starts walking away" I was struck in dismay! I expected a an offer of a refund at the least, considering the wait time during office hours. Because of other neighboring restaurants' excellent service and strong intent to make up for small errors or not, I doubt I will go back to this location again.

I was happy to see there was one here in Michigan near me. I only posted a negative review because you guys served me spoiled food, spoiled food. How could you make that right. You guys served that, not me. Myself or other people could have went to that hospital eating that crap. And yes I was frustrated because I was told I would get a refund, but initially I only got a $4 refund out of a $31 dollar purchase. And yes, after a few emails you guys finally gave me a full refund so I could delete my review is what I was asked, but I'm sorry, I can't delete my review because people need to be warned about how you guys serve food there so they won't get sick eating spoiled food. I did delete the part about the refund, but I can't delete the part about spoiled food. And I'm actually very happy with my life, I have a great job that pays me very well to travel around this great country of ours. I just don't appreciate a business that would serve me food that could put me or others in the hospital. So before you make ignorant comments like that, about someone's life, make sure you run your business better so your people aren't serving your customers bad food.
What a complete disappointment. My chicken Katsu is over cooked and dry, and no Katsu sauce. The rice looks old because it's just dry and clumpy. And the noodles smell rancid, just disgusting. I can't believe they served me this food. What a waste of money. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I can't even eat this food, probably just end up sick because I have no clue what's making those noodles smell so bad. Smells like they cooked them in sewer water. I smelt them right away, as soon as I took the noodles container out of the bag I could smell how bad those noodles are, just disgusting. Oh, and one more thing, the old guy bagging up the food is so slow, I can see the food getting cold because it takes forever for him to bag one order. Read moreI ordered teriyaki madness directly from their website, they use door dash as a 3rd party delivery. Door dash delivered the wrong order from a completely different restaurant with shellfish in the bag. I didn’t think anything of it when I reached in, and I have an EXTREME anaphylactic allergy to shellfish. I called teriyaki madness to get this taken care of and they said they couldn’t do anything for me, I had to contact door dash to figure it out. I did not have an order number nor a contact phone number for door dash. After I was able to contact door dash I sat on hold for 15 minutes while they figured out what had happened with my order. Teriyaki madness Using the 3rd party delivery makes them unable to help customers when something like this happens - it is killing business and looks horrible on them. Door dash told me that teriyaki madness were unable to fulfill the order after all this now because they closed the store and now door dash is having issues with giving me a refund.
Edited to add, I have gotten the run around from both door dash and the store, and I am unable to get a refund because the correct food was sent out and door dash “refuses” to pay for another order and since the store sent out food, they don’t want to issue a refund to me either.
