Not really sure what happened. Been going here for years, have had no issues with the portioning. Last few times I've been here, they give hardly a pinch of cheese. If you ask for extra after they've already given you the pinch, you get a very annoyed look, every single time, different people every time too (probably because subway doesn't pay their workers enough...). I don't particularly enjoy paying 8 dollars for lettuce and bell peppers wrapped in their new extra thin flatbread. Subway (in general, not this location specifically afaik, but I have no idea where else to mention this) has additionally removed the option to keep flatbread sandwiches untoasted on doordash for whatever reason? It used to be there, but they have gone through the effort of explicitly removing the option, so I can't just doordash it either, I have to go in and get mean looks! While I'm empathetic to the underpaid food service workers' plight of working for a company ever decreasing in quality, being the only location for Holland since the other closed down, henceforth swamped with everyone who wants subway, it makes me feel like I'm the bad guy for wanting a sandwich. Read moreOrdered online way ahead of time to pick it up at a certain time. I arrived at that time, the useless tracker said the food was ready. I go in, at 2 pm and there are four employees there so I’m thinking cool this should be easy since I already paid and it’s already ready. Nope, they ask who I am and tell me it’s almost ready. Cool, no biggie. 15 minutes later my two cold sandwiches were ready, and I’m thinking guess that’s the last time I order ahead of time, they don’t do the orders until you show up anyhow. Well I grab my subs and head to work. Get to work and open up the sandwich and it wasn’t what I ordered at all! So I open the second sub. Same thing. Not only was it not anything I ordered it was just a sandwich w sauces and veggies. No meat or cheese at all. Had no choice at that point but to return them which was irritating as now I have no time to eat before work dealing w subway sucking for 45 minutes. They made me the right sub on the second trip, but still forgot the pepperoni I paid for. Four employees! Oh, I also tipped ahead of time....
Read moreThis is another one of the most 50/50 experiences in Holland. It seems if the service is good, the food is lacking, and this is interchangeable day to day and shift to shift. I've had plenty of times where I go inside and watch the employees make the food with care and good portions, then other times it's legitimately slapped on with miniscule amounts, leaving the employees annoyed and rude with me when I ask for a bit more to meet normal expectations. This goes without even mentioning the mobile app orders, which all 3 times I've ordered have come incorrectly, with either the wrong bread or items missing completely while still being charged. I highly advise NOT doing mobile orders through this store, and to go in and order so you can at least watch your order made.
