I did not wear my wedding ring for almost three years due to my two pregnancies. I’ve been wearing an adjustable wedding ring that I bought for $7 online. Since I have lost weight, I decided to resize my ring and thought about Thomas A Davis Jewelers. Because I bought my wedding ring there about 5 years ago, (and the ring was specially made for me), I headed towards there on Saturday, January 20. When I got married, I was a size 5.5.

When I went inside, I met with a wonderful helper named Jessica. She greeted me right away and offer help. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We came to conclusion, that I am now a little over 6.5 for my new ring size. But since your fingers can change size, we decided it would be best to do 6.75. She did mention that they ship your ring to a different company to have it resize and before proceeding to resize your ring, they’ll give you an estimated Price first. It was $175 (plus tax) to resize and to me, it was a reasonable price. I was told it would be done around February 6. I didn’t hear anything from them, so I decided to call. Turns out it wasn’t ready until Wednesday, February 14.

A little sad and disappointed, but it was fine. I thought it was a treat to have a brand “new” ring on Valentine’s Day. When I got there, I talked to Jessica again and she showed me the ring. My ring looked amazingly sparkly! It looked so brand new and they cleaned my ring really well! In the end, it was worth the wait. I found Thomas A. Davis through a Google search and loved all the great reviews, so I went there to see if they could sell me a necklace extender for a one-of-a-kind necklace I recently purchased on vacation in Canada. It’s a larger, statement-piece type of necklace and what they had in stock was way too delicate and did not match the look of the necklace. Kyah offered to make me one and showed me some chain links that they could use. I didn’t even think of that as an option. She said it would take about a week, but it didn’t even take that long and the result was great! It wasn’t an exact match to the bit of chain already on the necklace, and I wasn’t expecting it to be, but it is perfect for what I need.
