Mama Mary's Pizza — Restaurant in Holland

Hmmmm well i can say the pizza is good from what i tasted of my sisters. I ended getting the baked pasta with meat sauce. Well when i got pasta and took a bite it wasnt to my knowledge that it was fettuccine noodles, when i looked on Mama Mary's website one of many on Google a picture showed regular pasta spaghetti noodles thats what i like ,thats what i thought i was getting . I never looked at original menu in building just on website. Michelle the manager was not understanding at all, i didnt even want my money back at all i wanted to exchange for something else or maybe get something at a different higher price like a pizza. Well Michelle said i cant help you, i said why not? she then said if you were at a restaurant you would just have to deal with it.I then said no you cant compare your business to any other restaurants cause that would never happen then saying they cant and wont HELP ME at all. She looked, she stared at saying nothing I WAS NEVER RUDE OR LOUD at this lady just couldn't believe her nonchalant attitude ...she then told me i would never see a picture of spaghetti noodles cause its been off the menu for a long time i then replyed miss i have no reason to lie she said i didnt say you were, i said i will get back on Google and show the website with picture of spaghetti she looked at her family member another co worker and i showed both of them the picture .BAM BOOM in there face there it was spaghetti noodles. Therefore i was under the impression thats what i was going to be eating regular spaghetti. When i showed them picture thats when and only when Michelle gave me my money back after she consulted with her family co worker... All of that for nothing but remember i never wanted my money back just good pizza. But after tonight the way i was treated I WONT BE BACK... not to mention the eating while working behind the counter and sucking on fingers while handling others orders ...staff UNPROFESSIONAL, pizza good Welp thats my review...

I'm prepared to give a review that isn't the greatest and to be honest I'm a little concerned after reading some of the other reviews and the responses from the owner. For example about 10 months ago a Google user by the name of Mac Baird give a one star review and the owner responded by doxxing them and also requesting that they take down their review or face "legal action". I don't think the owner realizes that doxxing is the actual crime, and all because someone was leaving an honest review. I mean the food here could be amazing but not being able to take a good or bad review without making direct or indirect threats speaks volumes about a business and it's legitimacy. So this contributed to Mama Mary's losing two stars on my review for sure. Luckily their food was of subpar quality therefore I don't have much to lose when it comes to having to decide whether they should receive my repeat business or not.. So, the crust was so dry and flavorless. The cheese and sauce were fairly decent but the toppings were stomach turning and foul. The toppings had the generic characteristics of a school cafeteria lunch or the basic quality of overly processed bulk foods. Specifically I had pepperoni, mushroom and black olive and they were respectively small, slimy, and very salty. I just looked up and over at the mirror on my wall and had to laugh out loud over the face I was inadvertently making.. a mashup of tasting something sour x legitimate fear. 10 out of 10 would not recommend based on flavor, presentation, quality of ingredients and horrible...

In short, we received a salad with Gross black lettuce after hearing the kitchen staff joke about hiding it below the spinach. I ordered four pizzas, a salad, and mozzarella sticks. I arrived a few minutes early as a customer was leaving, so the kitchen staff didn't notice I had entered. They proceeded to talk about the salad they were making and said, "just hide it under the spinach and no one will see it". When I politely confronted them the person in charge said that romaine never looks very pretty and so they put the spinach on top to improve the presentation and assured me everything was ok with the salad. As soon as I or anyone else started eating the salad we noticed that ALL of the romaine (at the bottom of the salad) was black (see photos). I can understand that as a small business you can't always use the 100% freshest ingredients, but to joke about and then serve someone entirely rotten lettuce is unacceptable. On top of this they confused which order was mine, so I waited an extra 15 minutes for my pizzas, only for the staff to realize the pizza was actually done on time and that my once hot pizzas were sitting on the shelf for 15 minutes and now no longer hot.
