Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe - Holly Springs — Restaurant in Holly Springs

We waited over an hour for our order of 3 gyros. The restaurant was far from full (two 4 tops), so I’m assuming most orders were take out, including ours. We were told our food would be brought out to us- our car was right out front. I had checked in on a couple occasions just to make sure it wasn’t sitting there. On last trip in, our bag was indeed on the take out shelf and had already cooled. The food- not very good. I got the grilled veggie gyro. Had a massive amount of sauce on it, veggies barely grilled, and pita soggy. The worst part, there were pieces of steak in my sandwich (I’m a vegetarian). The rice was overly lemony. The potatoes were ok; kind of soggy.

Will not be returning. Sad for a new business. More sad for the previous family-owned restaurant which served same type of food but it was very good, and took them 15 minutes to make, even with...

I frequent the Holly Springs Taziki’s multiple times per month and they are always so pleasant, helpful and delivering my foot hot and freshly cooked. They go above and beyond to make me happy as a customer and I appreciate that a lot because it’s hard to find that these days/after COVID it seems.

My usual order is the Grilled Salmon Feast with red potatoes and Mediterranean salad. This time I just got the Mediterranean salad with grilled salmon and extra shrimp. As usual, they did not disappoint me. They never forget my extra/special requests and that allows me to pick up my food without having to check it because they always do it right.

I worked at Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe for a few months before I had to go to college, it was the best job experience I have had since I started working jobs about 5 years ago. The people I worked with I will have connections with for years to come. I have never felt so cared for and heard at a job before. The two people who impacted me the most was David (owner) and Joey (general manager). They were always extremely patient with me when I first started up until the end and I will be always be so grateful to be able to look up to them.
