This place was terrible. I made a rsvp for 8 and told them it was for a birthday. I got there and the table was not set up. They set up the table and I informed the server it was my mom's birthday and we proceeded to order. Half of the table got their food and the other half (the birthday lady, a child and two others) waited 30 minutes - though everyone ordered at the same time. I had to get up and go ask my server what was taking so long. She said the kitchen and didn't apologize or seem to care.
Rule number 1 of a food order is all the food needs to come out together or a couple minutes, not 30 minutes. The server didn't come by to ask anyone if their food was okay. When I looked for the servicer, she was smoking hookah with another table. They included a service fee (automatic tip) and I asked them to remove it because the service was terrible. She also didn't say the tip was included which you are supposed to do. I asked for the manager to come over to remove the service fee and to let him know about the bad service and the man that came over was the same person the server was smoking hookah with at the table behind ours (um ok).
The food tasted okay but it was definitely NOT worth it because the service sucked and they had zero accountability. And the place was not busy at all. I will never go back. If you want Dominican food and good service at the same time -...
Read moreDisappointed with Service Fee Policy and lack of transparency
I recently dined at this establishment and while the food was satisfactory, I feel compelled to express my disappointment regarding their service fee policy. As a patron, I was surprised to see a hefty service fee added to my bill, only to learn that it does not benefit your wait staff.
While I understand the need for operational costs, it's disheartening to know that the service fee does not directly contribute to the hardworking individuals who provided us with service throughout our meal. This policy significantly impacted my dining experience and left me feeling unsettled.
Additionally, I must mention that the food quality did not quite meet the expectations set by the menu descriptions.
In the future, I would urge you to reconsider your service fee policy and ensure that it aligns with industry standards, where such fees typically go directly to the wait staff. Transparency and fairness are key to fostering positive relationships with customers.
Despite the shortcomings, I appreciate the opportunity to provide feedback and hope that you will take it into consideration for future...

First, the service: From the moment we walked in, the welcome was warm and fast. Even though the place was full, they managed to find us seats and made space out of nowhere—it honestly amazed me!
Second, the food: Oh. My. God. The Latin cuisine here is out of this world! We ordered a variety of dishes, and every single one was delicious and authentically made. We were so hungry and excited that we completely forgot to take pictures—oops! Definitely try the mixed grill, fish with coconut and fried yucca, Alfredo pasta, and shrimp mofongo. Everything was spot on!
Third, the atmosphere: The place is spacious and vibrant. As you walk in, there’s a wall with artistic paintings under UV light—really cool touch. The DJs get the crowd going, playing music for everyone, and the staff truly make you feel like you’re partying at home.
Bonus tip: It’s great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food quality is consistently excellent, and they even have live bands on Thursdays and Sundays!
Highly recommended—whether you’re hungry or just looking for a fun night out, this...
