Just one block south of Hollywood Boulevard, this small Mexican-Asian Eatery packs a big punch. From their delicious vanilla horchatas to their bowls, you are sure to find something you will like. As soon as I was seated I was greeted and brought a small glass of cold water (big points!) I got chips and salsa to start. It came with homemade chips that, although in the thicker side, were freshly fried and salted. The small wooden tray also included red salsa and guacamole. The guacamole was fresh! A little more lime for my taste but delicious nonetheless. The menu offers tacos, quesadillas, bowls. But some feature an Asian twist so why not try something different? I went for the tuna crudo bowl. The bowl came with cilantro-lime rice, yellowfin tuna, kimchee sauce, cucumber, sliced avocado, cilantro, fresh jalapeños and cumin-lime crema. The tuna is the clear star of this dish! Now I need to try their tuna crudo tacos!! I also ordered a side of their black beans which needed just a pinch of salt but other than that, they were very good. Service was friendly, prompt and courteous. I will definitely be back to try some of their other items on the menu.

There are several good things about this restaurant to mention. First, and most important, the food. I ordered the short rib quesadilla. It was super tasty with its moist, tender meat and melted cheese all wrapped up in a warm tortilla and drizzled with zesty cream. Mouth-watering and more filling than I expected. As for the chips and guacamole..yum! The chips were different than I’m used to. They were a little thicker, possibly homemade..? Really good! Another cool thing to mention is that although the space itself isn’t very big this restaurant has an open-air feel to it. The storefront near the bar area opens up to the outside seating. This gives it a fun vibe especially during a festival (which is when I was there). You can watch people walk by while enjoying good food and music. Lastly, I noticed that even though it was a busy weekend, the restaurant was very clean. All the tables have a black matte finish giving it a modern feel. The bar is made of sleek marble. The ladies’ room was literally spotless. I’m eager to return to Oaxaka to try something else from their menu!

Definitely caught off guard! I was craving something cheap so I could just fill myself up and I was craving tacos. When we arrived I was surprised to see a nice modern Mexican Asian fusion restaurant. Service was great and I love it when they bring out the water right away. The water was good and yes not all water taste the same. Started us with some drinks, and I do recommend trying their horchata! We ordered our food and it came out in less than 15 mins . Food was delicious and their tacos were filling . Kaysaydillas was 🤌🤌🤌🤌 Korean short ribs ! For both my wife and I, we ordered two drinks, two tacos, 1 quesadilla, 1 bowl- about 60 dollars 👌 was worth it. We came in hungry with little expectations and left impressed and full 😂 now we have high expectations for this place and will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Tonight I had the unfortunate experience of attending an event at Oaxaca, and I must express my deep disappointment with the level of customer service and professionalism displayed by the staff, Including management. The staff exhibited poor manners, showing little regard for the guests in attendance. It was evident that hospitality was not a priority. Simple courtesies such as polite greetings, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere were entirely absent. Instead, we were met with dismissive attitudes and a lack of basic professionalism. The most concerning part of the evening came when the manager approached and asked how we were doing and when giving feedback regarding the service, he stated that we needed to leave immediately. There was no effort to resolve any concerns, and no attempt at respectful communication. Instead, we were threatened with trespassing allegations, creating an unnecessarily uncomfortable situation. It was an appalling way to treat paying customers. A restaurant's reputation is built not only on its food but also on how it treats its patrons. Unfortunately, Oaxaca fell far below expectations. Customer service should be rooted in respect, hospitality, and professionalism--none of which were present during our visit. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience. The staff and management made this rating a 0 star. Until significant improvements are made in staff training and management's approach to customer relations, l cannot, in good faith, suggest this restaurant as a welcoming or...

I've never written a google review and never planned on it, but after visiting tonight I knew what I had to do.

Over the summer, I was looking for new food stops in the area and came across this restaurant that was set to open in August. I hadn't gotten the chance to see it for myself until tonight when I came in and ordered to-go. The waitress was very friendly and kindly helped me through the menu, which was pretty straight-forward and easy to read. They even offered me a water while I waited for my order to be cooked, which is a small but nice gesture many places don't even think about. The food was done in under ten minutes and was served with a smile.

I ordered a carnitas quesadilla and a beef short-rib taco, both at a reasonable price. They were DELICIOUS. The quesadilla made for the perfect comfort food with a very generous portion of meat inside, and the taco had the same generous portion of meat and was full of flavor.

The place was relatively empty for a Saturday night; any day now and the word will get out that there's a wonderful new mexican fusion restaurant in Hollywood Blvd. And if not, at least I won't have to wait too long for my tasty food! Will definitely be coming...
