OCEAN GRILL & BAR by HOLLYWOOD BEACH — Restaurant in Hollywood

We went to this place yesterday and not do good .. I got a hamburger just with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon cheese and mustard and ketchup .. basic right ?? The young waitress didn't take the order right . I got my hamburger loaded with onions .. IAM ALERGIC!!! plus no mustard ... My husband got the shrimp on a pita bread with bruchetta cheese .. the cheese was not even melted .. as I look over to get the waitresses attention she's got her cell phone out taking selfies of herself .. not asking anyone if they need refills nothing .. it was her and another waitress . Smh . Then to top it off my bill came to 58.00 because you guys decided to take a large tip and my burger was only 22.00 and his was 16.00 if that and two pops ... Gratuity of 20 percent gets mixed in too so I go put my card in the machine asked for another tip .. wth!! She didn't work for the first one and why would a person tip again ... I will be disputing this at my financial institution ... Don't eat here they steel tips from the customers ... 58.00 what the heck ,!!! Watch your bills ... And don't take selfies while working of...

From the welcoming genuine smiling introduction by Maria at the entrance on the boardwalk that was a main reason to look at delicious meal pics on marketing stand & than the artistically captivating environment with how immaculate everything was so clean & organized with almost every space decorated made it very obvious the owners & staff put a lot of thought into the great set up by visual attraction to detail of decoration to the ways of being for smooth operations reassured me i will definitely will be coming back with a hot date!! &/or for a great dining experience for alone time work to catch up on, and this place gave me all the great vibes i look for to spend money regularly for this pleasure Anthony’s management & staff deliver with 5 Star service for the best Ocean Bar & Grill experience i’ve had yet on the Hollywood Boardwalk and why i wanted to personally take this time to thank you all for helping me find my fav go to spot in the new neighborhood i just moved in to and felt like i been coming here for...

Visited because they advertised 2 for 1 cocktails. Let me preface by saying I should have known as place was dead on a busy saturday evening. Ambiance is nice and place is clean. Service was fine however again only one in here so no reason it shouldn't be. Ordered a bacardi and coke which server said was on happy hour and would be two for one. Receipt came and let's just say this was the most expensive cocktail ever! $34 (pretax, tap and credit card fees) for 2 bacardi and cokes. That's $17 each!!! I can buy the entire 1.75l bottle for that price. This is more than a specialty craft cocktail at a high end sophisticated bar or steak house. Never in my life had I been charged $17 for a bacardi. Also something to be aware of is they charge automatic 20pct gratuity. Wont be back as much better options for restaurants on...
