If I could give a zero, I would. WORST dining experience EVER! The food was beyond awful. We went in a hour before they closed and I felt as if they used old food to feed us or saved food from other plates because it just tasted all so raunchy straight down to the ketchup in the bottle. I jokingly mentioned one of us would probably get sick & sure enough….I was up with my 8 year old puking his brains out all Sunday night! Headed to the Doctors to document his illness. I’d avoid eating here. The spaghetti was luke warm, they forgot his meatball only to tell us they had none, they offered sausage and took about 1/2 hour to bring it out with only one other table being waiting on. Needless to say we didn’t take it & THANK GOD! We had 4 guest and every plate was wrong and disgusting. I drank about 2 sips of draft beer and instantly had a stomach ache all night. I had to send it back, it tasted so sour. I want my money back! I’m completely and utterly disgusted! And so upset my poor little guy got so so so so sick 😡 Shame...
Read moreWe stopped at JP's Restaurant while leaving Massachusetts and were pleasantly surprised. We had high hopes, but really didn't know what we were in for. Although most people there were eating at the tables, it had that neighborhood dive bar feel that I love. This is where the locals go. Our server (only 1 there with 15 tables... Literally) was so nice and gave us great recommendations even though she was busy. I had the chicken Marsala over spaghetti and my sister had the pot roast sandwich. My chicken was cooked perfectly. The sauce was delicious and the portion was large. My only complaint is that they didn't give me even a bread stick or a small side salad. I don't think that warrants the loss of a star because there was a lot of food. It came out quick and our server was on top of everything, even though she was busy. I'm so happy we stopped there and I will go back when I'm in...
Read moreMy wife and I were looking for a reasonably-priced restaurant to take the kids (8 and 12 yrs old) on the way home from Yankee Candle, and came across this place. It was after 8:00pm on Saturday, I thought it would be packed. But, when we walked inside we noticed that the bar area was packed, but the dining room was completely empty. To my surprise, our meals exceeded our expectations. The Pulled pork sandwich was made southern style and I felt I was eating fresh, home-cooked, all-natural pork. My daughter loved her mac n cheese...which is high praise for her. My wife was really impressed with her pot roast sandwich., Waitress was very attentive, and gave us service with a smile throughout our meal. With food this good, I was shocked that the dining room was empty!...
