Shopped on July 8 around 4:45 with my mother to try on dresses, and went to the dressing room to try them on. No dressing room attendant greeted me, and my mother stood at door to wait for me. About three other customers walked in unattended with me. Ended up picking out one dress of the three, and when I went to hand the dress back to the attentant, she made a comment loudly in front of other customers about how come I don’t have a number and I must have snuck past her. She made it in a very accusatory tone. I said no one was there to greet me so I went right in. She told me that’s impossible, since she was standing there the whole time, and then said “you’re gonna keep that other one though?” Again very abrasivly in a way that made me feel that she expected my behavior to be insidious in some way. I’ve worked in retail full time for 5+ years and do not belittle any customer regardless of if their purchasing or not and this is not how you conduct business. We did spend 50$ on clothing, would’ve spent more but her abrasive attitude toward me was incredibly offputting. I hate to leave negative reviews, because customers can be brutal to retail workers, but I feel she was looking to pick on someone and that’s just incredibly...
Read moreThis was the first time I went to TJ Maxx last week and I will say this is one of the nicest well organized cleanest store I have ever seen and I've been to other TJ Maxx before and this is by far the nicest one I've ever been in so I go a lot of respect and props to all the employees and management that keeps the store, nice and neat and organized even the bathrooms and I hope it stays that way because the Burlington next-door is disgusting everything's all over the floor all over the place nothing's we're supposed to be in the racks. It's just not a good place to go. You can't even manage your carriage through the aisles because your stuff all over the floor whether it be the shoe area the HomeGoods area there's picture frames all over the floor shoes all over I was disgusted and I just wanted to be fast. But again very nice door I want to spend more time here, but I had to get...
Read moreThe items are wonderful and was able to find a lovely Kate Spade handbag for my mother. However, the cashier practically bullied me into applying for a credit card. I even caught her lying (telling me it doesn’t matter if I’d applied many times before the six-month credit bureau Federal regulation), and telling me to “apply anyway” after I told her I already had an active card. STOP LYING TO CUSTOMERS! I knew it was a lie. How? I used to work in operations and sales retail, and January is the end of the last quarter. They were clearly desperate for a metric boost. The experience was horrible. I felt like I was dealing with a scam artist and the employees should feel ashamed of themselves. I recorded it with my phone. Trust me, integrity matters. Don’t compromise it just to make a...
