We never leave reviews, but this place was so terrible, we felt compelled. Was traveling home Sat afternoon when Wife and I decided to go here as we'd never been to a Red Robin before. I wanted a good burger and was happy try their "gourmet burger". Walked in and told there was a 10 minute wait, yet it was not busy and 3/4 empty. I looked around like...are you serious? (Can we just wait at a table?) They said it was because they were short staffed. Yet the staff had time to talk together at hostess station and check their phones during our visit. After we were seated (5 minutes later), waitress was nice enough and she tried. I ordered my burger and chose Onion Rings for $1.50 extra as waitress offered, Wife got boneless wings and chips. When food came it was just awful in both Quality & Quantity - burger was clearly not cooked to order. It was like a 1/4lb patty, dry, flavorless & luke warm at best, like a frozen patty run through a conveyer belt cooker and sat for 10 mins, no cheese, a tiny slice of Tomato the size of a poker chip, 2 little pickles and shredded lettuce. I Literally got 7 onion rings, that were flat out cold. Wife thought I accidently ordered a kids meal. Wife's food was also very blah, about 10 small nuggets of chicken right out of the bag and some chips. (Chips were the only good thing in the place). We Didn't want to waste another 20 minutes of our lives to complain about it so we decided to just eat it and get back on the road. Got the bill and my 7 cold onion rings cost $4 extra (as did the 1 diet coke and 1 small cup of coffee). So my wannabe burger meal cost over $24 alone. Total Check was $41 for that! We used the bathrooms and got out of there - we both said the bathrooms were dirty too, my wife washed the bottom of her shoes when she got back to the car. There is no way a franchise with systems in place should be run like this. As a former restauranteur, I don't think there's an adult in charge at this place. We decided that it cost us $41 to learn to never go to a Red Robin again. Next time I want a burger I'll Just go to Wendy's or BK, and get a better burger and cleaner...
Read moreNew Review: This is ridiculous. It was even worse than last time. When I got my soda it had hardly any ice in it at all and was near luke warm. I felt bad asking for another because it was so full, but that made me suspect they go super light on the ice so they don't have to give as many refills. I would be super cool with that if it was at least 1/4 full of ice, but it was like a smattering of ice. My mom's fries were ice cold which is sad. The wings were horrible. I got the "scorpion" dry rub which was supposed to be extremely hot, and I assumed it would be flavored with scorpion peppers, why name it after a pepper if you aren't going to use it? Well it appeared there was some kind of rub in there, but there was absolutely no spice. I would guess it was just a light batter with salt and pepper. I asked for a side of the actual sauce because they were bland and not at all spicy. I got what was supposed to be the "scorpion" sauce, but it literally tasted like just ketchup and cayenne pepper. Still not very spicy and DEFINITELY not scorpion pepper. It was more ketchup flavored than anything else. I paid like $15 for 6 wings that tasted like nothing at first and then like something a college student whipped up out of sauce packets they had collected. I also got one of the smaller burgers. It was supposed to have a burger sauce on it but it was cold and also flavorless. I looked to see if it had any sauce on it and it looked like maybe they took about an ¹/8 of a teaspoon and spread it over the whole burger. Like literally there was kind of a wet orange tint to the bun itself. I also got the chips which are advertised as "seasoned" but it looked and tasted like they just showed a picture of spices to the chips as they came out of the frier and that was about it. The server was decent, but she can only work with what shes given and the kitchen was pumping out crap. I won't be...
Read moreI usually order pick up from Red Robin once a month usually we never have any problems. This month my boyfriend and I ordered 3 burgers (2 for him of corse) and I ordered 1. I usually get a burger in a lettuce wrap. This time we got there and the food wasn’t ready. We were gave them an extra 10 minutes to get the food ready. And when we arrived it wasn’t done. So my boyfriend sat at the bar and had a glass of water and waited. Finally we picked up our food and drive home. Granted this is a 15 minute drive one way. As we opened up our food we noticed there were 3 different burgers and not one of them was on the lettuce wrap. I was super upset and called. I talked to the manager Curtis, he felt terrible and i told him I was upset because my burger was specific and it wasn’t in my bags. My boyfriend had no problem eating any of those burgers but I wanted a lettuce one. So I told him I was coming back for my burger. He told me he would compensate me for my troubles and for coming back as well as give me a new burger. So I drove back and went to the bar where the pick up is, they had all 3 originals burgers ready, now sitting there for 45 minutes and she tried to hand them to me. I told her I only wanted my lettuce burger. As I got my lettuce burger it had SOGGY lettuce on it!! So I turned around and asked to see the manager. After waiting another 10’mijutes he finally came out with a new burger and no compensation. All in all this time my experience with Red Robin in Holyoke was terrible. And I wouldn’t be mad if we never went...
