My girlfriend and I got the hot stone bibimbap.I got the seafood and vegetable hot stone bibimbap and she got her a tofu and vegetable bibimbap. A tofu and vegetable bibimbap is not on the menu so you will have to ask the server for it. My girlfriend and I shared japchae. The food here is a bit expensive. I paid about $54 (not including tip). I don’t beleive it costs that much for these 3 dish. There are many other places in Hawaii that is a lot cheaper. The waitress just wrote down a number on a peice of paper and not how much each item cost. Not wanting to make a muckus, I paid. I think she included the tip into the check and I might have paid tip on top of that Tip. I have been here several times and I try to avoid eating here but I decided to give this place another chance today. My brother and his friends have told me thst they got terrible service by an "old woman" who works there so they refused to tip. Upon not tipping, this old woman would try to hold the door to prevent them from leaving because they refused to tip. I beleive that is holding someone hostage. This woman would also chase them out to the parking lot to demand that they pay the tip. Do I recommend going here? No. The food is great but even when I came here today, the service was terrible. The waitress was not very attentive to requests. She would run back and forth to the kitchen and yell something in Korean while taking my order. The restroom isn't clean.

I have been coming here for many years now and have never been disappointed. I always have Spicy Pork as this is my favorite Korean food. Served on a sizzling platter. Tasty, spicy and very Flavorarable. A bowl of rice and 7 side dishes compliment the meal. I have been to many Korean Places to eat and everywhere I go I always eat Spicy Pork. Most places are more BBQ style then "spicy" so I am very pleased to eat at a place that actually serves Real Spicy Pork. Just look at the pic. You can see the steam rising from the platter as it is served. Awesome!

Good food! We tried a handful of different things. Some other reviews mention the poor service but it was normal for a typical traditional Korean restaurant(they leave you alone to enjoy unless you wave them down) if you’ve never eaten at a Korean restaurant where the servers are obviously from Korea then you would probably think they aren’t paying attention to you but they’re just trying to give you your space and let you eat. That’s how they do it in Korea, being waited on hand and foot is very much a western thing (country wise)

The waiters and waitresses are all very rude. No matter who serves you. They don't know how to set priorities, they serve people randomly. We usually have to wait a while just to get our water, and when we're ready to order you need to wait again while they just stand there looking around. When the food comes they usually quickly *almost just toss the food on the table and quickly walk away. Sometimes they just leave the food on the other end of the table if you are sitting on the inside seats. They honestly don't know how to give good customer service. They even have the nerve to say "tip" when you're paying (I paid with my card when they asked) I have no problem giving tips, but not for bad service. This place would be good if the service, and workers...

Do not recommend if you’re not familiarized with the korean culture. The workers and servers take pride in service only towards people who look, speak or act like them. If you’re not Korean, not even of an asian ethnicity or any type of foreigner that is NOT KOREAN don’t think to come here. Service is poor and the food quality really depends on the first impression of how you look or speak while ordering. It’s an old run down hole in the wall, ran by racists and supported by a loyal korean dominated customer base. All people from EVERY ETHNIC BACKGROUND AND STATUS should be welcomed into a paying establishment with the same respect and dignity they walked in...
