Dean & DeLuca consistently delivers, and I have to say that they serve the BEST matcha latte around, hands down.
Whether you get it hot or iced, it’s smooth, creamy, and perfectly delicious. I seriously crave it all the time! The goodness has to be in their secret ingredient for sure!
Every time I have visited here, the staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful.
During one of my many matcha latte fixes, I also tried the croque monsieur and it was absolutely delicious.
They have a ton of pastries on display. I haven’t personally tried them, but they’re very picturesque.
They also have a mini shop inside for people to buy unique Hawaii inspired treats to take home or give as gifts.
While there’s no indoor seating, there are quite a few outdoor tables available, which makes it a nice spot to sip, snack, and people-watch.

Read moreI was excited for a new spot to open up in the neighborhood but was quite disappointed with the few things I ordered over couple of visits.
I’ve tried the following items here: Pork Belly Bruschetta 1/10: pork belly was not soft. Bread was super hard and tasted stale - and super hard to chew Empanada 5/10: filling was decent but super bland and on the smaller side Hazelnut Cream Puff 4/10: I was disappointed by this cream puff because there wasn’t much what I’d consider cream in this puff. It felt like eating sweet refrigerated butter. -Chocolate Eclair 6/10: this was not bad but not great either. Found this to be too sweet and unbalanced Custard Cream Puff 9/10: this is the only item I enjoyed so far. Perfect cream and perfect custard .
I wasn’t compelled to try other food items like the sandwiches and smoked salmon etc as they look old and stale. I was also disappointed by their drink offerings. They were selling pumpkin pie matcha latte but does not have regular matcha latte on their menu, which does not make sense.
I might give a final visit to try their bread and other bakery items, but I don’t have too high...
Read moreThe long wait is over….Dean & Deluca is finally open in Kakaako…on the ground floor of Koula. The glass cases are filled with artisan pastries ( sweet and savory), fresh baked bread, sandwiches and more. There is a full selection of coffee & tea (hot and cold), drinking chocolate, matcha, and fruit juices. There are also a great selection of the signature Dean & Deluca aprons, tote bags, dishwear and more. They’re currently open everyday from 7a-7p, except Sundays 7a- 1:30p. There’s 9 tables with chairs to relax and enjoy…but be warned it’s outside and just a few feet away there’s heavy construction going on. I’m sure once that’s over it’s be quite serene. Looking forward to visiting over...
