SHUT IT DOWN!!!! HORRIBLE This place after 7pm is a NIGHTMARE!!!!! What I would like to call a “manager” (I don’t know who she was because she had no name tag, didn’t introduce herself to my party or myself) was acting as if she couldn’t remember the one things she questioned me 4 times about on my pizza (only cilantro) for whatever reason and proceeds to act like her hands hurt and calls the CASHIER (dealing with dirty money) over to “help her put cilantro on pizza” . Then she proceeds to question me at checkout if my free pizza validation given by a pieology General Manager in Kaneohe(amazing, great customer service) was real or not. After she complains, questions me about my free pizza and threatens to me that shes going to call the manger to verify; actually gets on phone and calls manager then has nothing to say to me because THE CUSTOMER WAS RIGHT!! Then she scolds my fiancé who is active duty military, (IN UNIFORM too btw) a hard time about the discount that first responders and active duty are supposed to receive! To make it worse they are totally against “health regulations” ie the workers are blatantly on their cell phones in front of customers with food gloves and switching between cashier and pizza line with the SAME gloves on! I also witnessed an employee sweep the line with the broom and then proceed to help box/ prepare food! Again at this point you minds-well shut the establishment down for good! Thank God I wasn’t a tourists because it’s be a terrible Aloha welcome …more like an Aloha nightmare! I DONT RECOMMEND AND WILL NEVER RETURN! Please don’t spend your hard earned...
Read moreI like their selection of crusts, sauces, cheese and toppings. They cater to newer tastes, like cauliflower and gluten-free crusts, and their selection of draft beer includes local products.
Overall it's a smooth, efficient operation that gives you exactly what you order very quickly. You tell them what you want and see them build and load the pizza, and it's out in a few minutes.
The knock on it is that it has a Subway vibe, which I have to admit is true. There is no flour-dusted pizza artisan tossing dough in the air, no checked tablecloths or wickered bottles of chianti. Soft drinks, utensils and napkins are self serve. The dining area is clean but not intimate or nostalgic.
But all that aside, it's a good value: $10.95 for a basic thin crust with, so far as I know, unlimited toppings and cheese. Special crusts are a few bucks more. I don't know anywhere else that offers the variety they do, and certainly not for that price.
There are pizzas I think taste better but Pieology is what it is, and it is good....
Read moreCame here around 10 minutes before closing on Dec 12th. Was shocked that they served chicken that was labeled as use by Dec 10th. I figure it was the weekend - Sunday - and the last shipment they got was on Fri the 10th and were waiting for a new shipment of chicken on Monday the 13th. Granted the chicken was expired to use around 72 hours, which is significant when you talk about chicken rather than a preserved deli meat. The franchise owner of this store should just tell customers they are out of chicken rather than out on chicken that is expired 3 days ago. I took one bite of the pizza and it tasted funky with a musk aftertaste. I threw it out. Hours later I have a high fever and also irritable and uncontrollable bowel movements. The space looked dirty and unprepared even at closing when things were supposed to be clean. Store is currently looking for a general manager and it is much needed for food safety and cleanliness in this place. Will share response from franchise owner...
