The Dotted Line — Restaurant in Honolulu

I had been there months ago for Pau Hana and the service was excellent. But on a recent Sunday evening, I took my sister and son for dinner at 6:30. There were TWO employees trying to run the restaurant -- one server and one food runner. There is no way those two people could have done well, and they didn't. For example, it took 20 minutes between asking for a dessert menu and having the opportunity to order dessert. By that time, we had lost interest. So fun checking out The Dotted line at the new ac hotel on Bishop. Great service from Aaron and you gotta try the strawberry shortcake !!! Best one on island♡ Their deviled egg is to die for with tobikko and truffle. The taco was OK for national taco day. We heart cake company supplied the entertainment of cookie decoration ♡ Can't wait to try Yours truly speakeasy tiki bar opens from Wed to Sat. Unfortunately, parking is valet only for 15 dollars. Went to lunch with a bunch of coworkers. The service was great until the end. Wasn't able to get a desert menu or the check. The food was pretty good. Our table had the lemongrass tacos, steak frites, ceviche, burger, chicken sandwich, lobster roll and the beet salad.

The steak frites was really good and the French fries were great. My coworker wasn't super fond of his salad but liked the steak it came with. Didn't really get an review from anyone else. I remember the burger being almost $40 (bacon & avocado) so I hope...
