Baba Java - The Village at Meadowbrook — Restaurant in Hoover

Someone had given me a coupon for a free coffee or tea here so my husband and I decided to check it out. Nice, sleek, clean atmosphere. The girl working was super sweet and helpful. My husband had the maple brown sugar latte and I had the camel latte. Both were very good! Smooth and tasty. We’d just eaten when we decided to stop in for coffee so we will definitely have to go back and try the pops which looked amazingly delicious! This seems like it will be a great new addition to the Meadowbrook/119 area.

Update: Went back to today (have been several times) this time wanted to try the summer menu. Had the lemon ganache latte. Soooo good! Always get good service here and love...

Baba Java has quickly become one of my favorite coffee shops of all time. I usually stop in once a week for a colaspresso before work. It is always ready for me on the counter when I get there and even though I am just ducking in to pick up my coffee I am always greeted by the staff. The espresso is high quality and so smooth and every beverage I've gotten there is a hit. Food wise the choices are limited but the savory breakfast roll is a winner. If I was to say there were any negatives, I wish it was open earlier on Saturdays but I respect that they balance employee satisfaction...
