KFC — Restaurant in Horn Lake

One star because the people I dealt with were friendly and quick. But honestly I would rather wait for chicken next time. I got an eight piece and was given four thighs without being asked If that was OK. Most disappointingly the chicken was not fresh at all. This was really gross and I won't be going back to this location. Let me just say I come here often on day shift and it's great. I'm not sure if that's why but this is the first time I got bad food at this location and it cost Mr 30 bucks. As I won't be driving back across Goodman on a Friday night. So if you eat here don't do it after dark and if they ask do you want your receipt say yes. The chicken is nasty the two breaststroke look like they were originally baked then half fried hours later all flat and gross...belongs in the dumpster. It's like the cooks are experimenting with how long something can sit under the heat lamp and not cause food poisoning. It's like the worst old chicken you ever got at a grocery store. I would say they should donate it to the homeless but then that's just mean tbh. Smh...I worked real hard for that 30 bucks...thanks KFC cook/staff. Hope yall get the same you served to me. Why can you not do zero stars? Honestly I think the health department should be in there. Employees coming in not dressed, hitting the back out of uniform. Employees coming out of the bathroom where I know they didn't wash there hands because the sink was dryas I passed them going in. They had on their apron too. In the bathroom. Going over and haveing a loud conversation with a customer where the woman is crying at a disturbing level after. The place smelled moldy near the drink machine. The food though? Yellow chicken. It looked as if it had been sitting long enough for the meat to turn. Except I heard the lady constantly saying she was out of this or that. I didn't get buiscuts with my meal and when I asked for some she said how many. Like know your menu lady. We threw our 40 dollar meal and just left. That's why people would rather go across the street and wait forever for food than eat at your establishment. And on the way out the crew had the nerve to be arguing with a woman that she wasn't short changed chicken. Just apologize and give her what she's missing. I'm praying we don't get food poisoning from the little we did eat but I can guarantee we...

Ordered the $20 fill up "Extra Crispy" and before paying asked to add a large mac and cheese. Apparently that's a nono.

So after placing the order and getting the extra mac and cheese added and all paid for I get told, We don't have the drumsticks in extra crispy". I told them to do everything in extra crispy, but the drumsticks can be original recipe. No problem, right? About 15 minutes go by and I hear, "Here's your order sir." and I'm like, "Great! Thanks and have a wonderful day!" All smiles at this point. :-)

I get home and start getting my food and no mac and cheese. Not that big of a deal, It wasn't that big of a mistake, but when I get my chicken out it's all slimy and I can't pick it up without the skin falling off and dropping back in the bucket. Everything was "Original Recipe", but slimy, not even a hint of actual "original" quality that I've been used for the last 45 years that I've been eating Kfc.
