Usually the service is great. Even when they are busy the wait is not bad, that is until tonight. The cashier working tonight was awful. She was more interested in ACTING cute than customer service. I was in line to have my order taken and she told the guy behind me (an employee) to come order. He had to tell her I was there first. She obviously considered me to be an inconvenience. She was not nice at all and rushed through taking my order so the other girl didnt get to take the order from the guy behind me. She took her time taking his order and flirting. When my order was ready, she continued to play. She bagged my salad and handed it to me. I had to ask about the bag of ice. She obviously didn't want to go to the back where nobody could see her ACTING cute. She knocked the hat off guy she had been flirting with, grabbed it and went to the end of the counter and started teasing him with the hat and calling more attention to herself again. I said Hey! Could you get the ice that you should have gotten 10 minutes ago because I would like to get home tonight. She glared at me and strolled to the back and got some ice (about half a bag that I threw away because she probably spit in it because I said something to her) and slowly walked to the counter with a smirk on her face and handed it to me. She obviously does not have any customer service skills. The manager really should rethink her position as an employee because her attitude and childish behavior is going to cost them business. Read moreThe manager on duty was not very aware of how to process payments as half-and-half. Using a gift card and a debit card he said it could not be used and I’ve used it at the Zaxby’s before. His reply for that was this is a new system. I confronted him about that because if that was a problem with the new system, it would have already been addressed when he first came into the conversation. In this case he did not like the idea that he did not know how to do something. If he wasn’t trying to know how to deal with systems when this occurs, that’s fine admit to it and we can move on. Unfortunately, in this case it really was a bad luck of being in a management position and trying to lie to a customer that knows about your system because they’ve had no problem at their location or any other location when it comes to payment. To the managers that are responsible for training Please find better ways of showing how to deal with customers when this type of problem occurs. Overall the staff everyone was nice. The food came out hot and fresh and they worked as a team. Read moreThe only thing going for this place is that it's kinda clean. Ordered the food, took 12 minutes to get it, everyone that ordered after me got their food before me. The fries were burnt and cold, the tomatoes in the sandwich are disgusting at best. The tea was great, as always with Zaxbys, and they have the awesome coke machine with a gazillion flavors.
After today, I'll never return here. I'm done with this location. Went through the drive through, ordered our food, the girl didn't repeat it back. Got to the window and paid her, to realize that she missed a whole meal. I asked her about it, and she started arguing with me over the issue, all I wanted her to do was charge me for the food, and get it to us. I drove off without my meal, which leaves me hangry now.
