I pulled up to the "Drive Tru" last night around 9 pm or so. Then preceded to order a Market base salad (no chicken), with honey mustard dressing. My favorite! And boy, was I hungry, and couldn't wait to eat it.
It looked like a slow night for them. I saw just 1 other vehicle there in the drive thru. So I assumed I'd be in, out, and chowing down in a zip! I also noticed the Front of The House greeters that make he Chick-fil-A experience pop, where not on duty at that hour.
Any-ho, I was given my bag of food, then I pulled into a parking spot to eat. I was too hungry to wait. So I excitedly open the bag and saw they got the dressing part right, but not the salad. They gave me a Cobb base salad that had eggs (chicken) in it. I might have eaten it anyway, and called it a day had it not been for the eggs. Luckily, I had not left the parking lot, so I did a u-bie, then pulled up to the Drive Thru for a second attempt at getting the meal I was yearning. I explained how I had requested a Market base salad (no chicken), but instead a Cobb base salad was placed in my bag. They were friendly and I was friendly when the 2nd exchanged took place. I was again excitedly anticipating finally chowing down on the Market base salad. When I opened the 2nd bag, the 1st thing I notice is the chicken on top of the salad. They say the "3rd time is a charm". I will never know in this situation because I was too frustrated to return to the Drive thru a 3rd time in a friendly demeanor. So I disheartenly picked the chicken off the salad and ate it which didn't taste as good as usual because chicken had touched it. I'm not a meat eater. The smell and taste of chicken or any meat is gross for non meat eaters.
Why were the those workers last night persistent with giving me chicken, or some form of it? Is it because I'm black?
All previous visits to this location have been pleasantly outstanding, and oders efficiently taken. I consider last night to be a 1 off experience.
Fast food oders are not supposed to be like a box...
Read moreYou know, I used to brag all the time about the wonderful Chick-fil-A on Welsh Road here in Horsham, lovely girl name, Amanda, I don’t know if it’s Bridget or Britney?, And a young big guy that used to have this place running like a well oiled machine! I come here a minimal one time a week with my dog. Everybody knows me and everybody knows my dog, well I should say used to! Last week I bought my usual, and it’s always $18.63 and I always give exact change $20 bill And $.63 I got back $1.23. I was told by the manager well, she’s young!!!! Earlier this week came through drive-through once again handed them exact change except I guess I threw a little too much, at them, I did my usual exact change except this time there was a 50 Cent piece and out of the three Window attendance. No one had a clue what it was! Yes, that’s right folks they didn’t know what a 50 Cent piece, half dollar, whatever you wanna call it was! Today we arrived here at 9:45 sharp didn’t get to the window until 100 1! Thing is there was only two cars ahead of me! Once again, exact change, same guy as the 50 Cent piece mind you, forgot to give me my change now he shut the drawer had to go find a manager, so I had the pleasure of spending approximately 20 minutes to get my breakfast for me and my dog! What’s going on folks???????🤔, it’s almost easier to drive to Warrington, what happened? I noticed after you lost some key people this place is not in the same and I don’t know when you guys respond to bad reviews and say to call, we’ll make it better?? what does that mean? I spend on an average of $40-$50 a week here. I don’t know if that...
Read moreI visited this location by driving in today during a thunderstorm at the early evening hours of a Thursday. Although it was neat that there are dual drive through lanes with multiple kiosks to place your order, the line was very long. Judging on the time it was taking the cars to progress to the nearest kiosk, it would take about a minimum of a half an hour. I thought about curbside pickup, but then again looking back at the drive through line, it would probably take just as long to have my order bought up to me. I decided to to park my car within an available parking space and just walk in. There was only one person at the cash register currently attending a customer, but no line. I placed my order within 5 minutes of walking in. I received a countertop table number stand and walked to the back where the booths and tables are located. It was glorious. It was clean, and well stocked with all the typical condiments. There was a family dining in and just me. There was a generous amount of seating enough for about 40 people. I placed my tabletop order stand at a booth of my liking, went to the restroom, and washed my hands. The food arrived 5 minutes after I sat back down. It was deliciously hot. By the time I was done and left the restaurant, the car that was in front of me just pulled up to the kiosk, and I was on my way back home with my belly full. Whenever you see a long line at the drive through, just walk in. It'll only take less than 30 seconds from your car door to the restaurant entrance and cut your wait time dramatically. No fuzz...
