Let me start with I’m not from Hot Springs and idk if my experience was normal behavior or if it was simply unprofessional…. When I first walked in, I was surprised to hear Crime Mob Knuck if you Buck blaring from the behind the counter. Everyone knows that at the first sign of attitude, while Knuck is playing, hands will be thrown. I feel like that’s a power move and let’s everyone know you ain’t playing. Like get your food and be happy you got it. Then I remembered I had my child with me and that’s not a good setting for children. Then, while ordering my food, they had some follow up tunes with 21 Savage and Future. At that moment, I realized that I was not at a normal McAlisters and I decided I should see how it all plays out. From there I went to the bathroom and was greeted with what appeared to be a normal bar bathroom; dirty and unkept with a broken paper towel holder that looked like it knucked to the wrong person. After that, my food came out quick and was missing things that normally come on it, but it was hot and ready. The lady asked me if I needed anything and I remembered the music from before, so I told her I was good. I learned a long time ago to simply accept what you get, because it might come back with things you don’t really want. While I ate, I got to hear the current top 10 trap songs. Luckily my kid didn’t notice, because I didn’t want to explain typical trap terminology just yet. While I ate I got some refills of tea that was clearly not fresh, but I got the refills quickly without issue. Even tho the music was not family friendly, the service was pretty good and the staff was solid. Definitely won’t go back, don’t wanna chance it and end up on some...
Read moreWorst experience here twice in a row! I did an App Order for Curbside pickup. I called to state I was there to pickup my order. 10 mins passed and still no order so I called back and then a lady came to my car to state my order had been picked up already. I told her that my order was not given to me and was gave to someone else (2nd time this has happened to me). She said she was going to go talk to her supervisor and would be back. 5 mins passed and no one came. At this point, my kids are screaming and Im frustrated since I have now been here for nearly 20 mins and no food. I am sick and was trying to be a good samaritian by not having to go in. Now I am mad, I go inside and ask for a refund. They refund me with no question. My reciept says +0.79 as my refund. I told her this makes no sense. She explained it was a nonrefundable fee for using the app, which I will never use again cause why I have to pay anything for someone to mess up my order and give it away is beyond me. Bri said I should be refunded in 5 days. I am a very patient person and very considerate. At this point, I am longer a customer at this food chain. Once sure, twice no more! Do better is all I can say for your...
Read moreFirst time here. Cranberry orange club was delicious! Wouldn't change a thing about my food. Mac and cheese, creamy perfection. I will be back, now that I know the drill here. Curbside needs some tweaking though. According to online instructions, pull into a "designated curbside spot" and we will bring your order out at xx:15 o'clock. Circled the parking lot, no sign of "designated curbside pickup" spots. Waited 10 minutes and no one came out so I called. Hmmm, let me see if I can find your order....yup, I found it...what color is your car?? Pretty sure I entered that when placing the order....I did get my order soon, asked the girl about designated spots, oh just call us and we bring it out (it says NO WHERE in instructions). Um, there was no where to place a tip (using card). Oh, just bring it inside, we have a tip jar.....um, using a card here and going in to leave $$ in a tip jar rather defeats the purpose of curbside I think as well as using a card since I don't often carry cash! Corporate needs to improve tipping when using a card. Servers have suffered enough...
