Newk's Eatery — Restaurant in Hot Springs

I am from out of town and when I saw that Newk’s was in this area I was very excited as I eat at Newk’s back home often. However, I must say that this experience was less than to be desired. I ordered a Caesar salad which was delivered to my place of employment. When I opened the salad it appeared to be what I usually order. However as I began to eat the meal, I found the lettuce was brown. I normally would not complain, but 3/4 of the salad was not good. I contacted the local manager and informed him I was not upset, but I wanted to make him aware that they lettuce they were serving was brown. To which she responded: well I’m not sure what you were talking about, we’ve been serving salad all day. I understand that from time to time ingredients may not be as fresh, but I do not appreciate the lack of concern the manager presented when informing him of the mishap. I will not let this situation keep me from eating here in the future, but I do feel that customer service at this location could...

Gave 4 stars because of the food and the cook (Alyssa) was awesome and helped me with all I needed for the food. She was so sweet and was empathetic to my health issues. The manger (Brandi), fixed what happened and was also very very sweet! She was truly helpful and seemed happy to do it too. Here is the problem…..I was told previously to always get a receipt for my points because they don’t always automatically calculate. Today we stopped at Nukes in Hot Springs and the gentleman (Jakob) didn’t even ask me for my phone number. I left it alone so that I could get a receipt and then the receipt wouldn’t scan and after Jakob asked the boss on duty (Brandi) how to fix it he came back to my table and told me he couldn’t and I knew he lied cause I could hear the lady talking to him so if you’re interested in getting your points, and they don’t give it to you then speak to a manager and they will help you even if the cashier...

We have been remodeling our home so we have been eating to-go a lot. Newk's is our favorite! There food is always fresh and prepared really well. It's a nice way to eat healthy. Servings are large so it's a good value. We have ordered several things but the Ultimate salad is my favorite. Also, the Caesar with Chicken, the Margherita pizza and Turkey Breast sandwich is great. We have also tried soup and pimento cheese (which has a nice kick) and the kid's menu if really good. Staff is very friendly, especially the manager that works weekday evenings. She remembers me and always double-checks the order before I leave. My favorite thing about Newk's is that I can totally customize my salad and sandwiches online. There are lots of choices to add and subtract to items. Salads are HUGE. I can never eat a full one. I have never eaten in but its looks nice inside and there are usually several people there.
