My husband and I decided to dine here because of all the rave reviews we read online. Unfortunately our visit was nothing to rave about. Quite the opposite. My husband had the Tour of Italy. The chicken Parmesan was a tough frozen chicken patty and the lasagna noodle was mush. My shrimp scampi with butter lemon sauce was precooked, frozen shrimp on a pile of noodles soaked in what tasted like margarine, not butter. Overall inedible. I sent my dish away and they comped my meal. My husband, having pitty on our server, asked for a to-go box after a few polite bites, which he left behind purposely. The salad was just iceberg lettuce. No romaine like the description says. The rolls they buy are pretty good, so I donât feel too bad about having to give one star because you canât give zero. We are from St. Louis and have dined in almost all of the restaurants on âThe Hillâ so we absolutely know what real Italian food...
Read moreIâm a huge mushroom lover, so I was excited to try the stuffed mushroom appetizer here. Unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. For $18, I received just five mushrooms â each about the size of a quarter â and they were nowhere near worth the price. The menu mentioned crab, but I couldnât taste any at all. Instead, they were sitting in a sauce, but no bread was provided to enjoy it.
When I voiced my concerns to the manager, I was met with zero effort to make things right. For me, thatâs just as disappointing as the dish itself. I left still hungry and had to go elsewhere for food.
If youâre considering the stuffed mushrooms at Little Italy, save your money â theyâre not shareable, not flavorful, and not worth it. And based on my experience, donât expect much help from management if you...
Read moreThis restaurant was beyond our expectations. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. The service was phenomenal. Cindy was our waitress! Not only did she give us great recommendations, she was very attentive and gave us amazing service. The food. The bread rolls and salad were so fresh! We got the Chicken Parmesan with Alfredo instead of marinara, and Chicken Marsal. I can't put into words how good every bite was. Both were recommended by Cindy and if you have her as your server, just listen to her. She won't steer you wrong! We don't even like mushrooms, but the Chicken Marsal sounded too good not to try. We ate as much as our stomachs could bare. Although we're not from here, I'll definitely be recommending this place to anyone coming up here! Thank you again for such a...
