Buyer beware! This establishment doesnât do anything well. If I could give zero stars, I would. It took 15 minutes to be noticed on a low-average attendance evening. Then, we tried placing a drink order; multiple liquor types were sold out. When the waitress was asked for recommendations she was not aware of what to recommend. The beer tasted as if it had been chilled, gotten warm, and chilled again. 20 minutes after our first order, we received our drinks, and one of the mixed drinks was undrinkable. What was supposed to be a lemon drop martini came out in a lowball glass with a salt rim and a lemon margarita. We had to flag down a waitress after ten minutes to ask for another drink. It took around 20 minutes to get that one. At this point it had been 45 minutes. We were trying to be polite and understanding, as we all understand the service field. We had to go up and ask for our bill, because it seemed liked the waitress went out of her way to ignore us. I paid cash, as did another member of our group of 5. I was not given my coin change back. I alerted the waitress that my change was short. She told me they donât give back change. I told her if I would have been told that, I would have given her my card and I asked her why she would have not told me I wouldnât get all of MY money back. She snapped, âIt was only 30 cents! Itâs not a big deal!â I told her it was MY Money and keeping it is theft, so give me my money back and Iâll pay with my card. The waitress snapped louder, âwhat do you want me to do? Go get it out of my purse?!â I told her yes. So, I waited. Unbelievable. They also kept change of another member. We left no tip. Why do people think they have a right to YOUR money because they feel itâs a small amount of change? This happened another time in Hot Springs. We noticed several people who came in after us had left and went somewhere else, too. The only two mistakes we made was going there and staying for too long. Save your money and your time. They are rude and you will wait forever for no food and a lousy, expensive drink, with even worse service. (I never leave reviews; I just tip really, really well. Hands down the worst experience in...
Read moreI normally give restaurants 2 chances after they fuck up, but this restaurant isnt even getting that. On 7/4/2021 my friends and I visited this place and may I just say it was a waste of time and money. The food was not as expected and the service from the waitress we were introduced to was absolutely awful. On that same day The waitress told us it was her first day and not only did she lie about that, it took her about 5-10 min just to get us water before taking what we wanted to order. She served the other guests (White) when we were there before any other party. By the time she took to long to come back we had already been taken over by a lovely waitress who busted all of the lies the original waitress told us. On 7/4/2024 my friends and I visited again hoping to not see the horrid waitress with Stevie wonder makeup skills. When we got there we were already starving and dehydrated from walking around hot springs. The waitress who served us had a nasty ass attitude. The way she greeted us did not feel welcoming nor pleasant but you can expect that when you see a racist prick in front of your eyes. She sat us down and took our orders and did not come back for another 20 minutes. I could see her bringing food and drinks to other(white guests) guests with a smile and positive energy so that just showed that the waitress had no interest to even serve us in the beginning. This place is racist and terrible! I would not send my worst enemy here. If you are African American and you think about coming here dont even do it. You get better service at chik fila and all them Mother fuckas racist with amazing service. For all of you waiters and waitresses that work at this establishment, do better. All my party and i wanted to do was sit relax have good food and drink and we couldnât even get that. A fucking dog got water before we did damn it ,and i saw yall nasty ass let him drink from that cup too. Do not visit this place you will end up unsatisfied but at least you can save your money....

The Rooftop, Hot Springs, AR.
Last week I took an impromptu trip to Hot Springs Arkansas. I chose a hotel I had seen before but never stayed at before. The Waters at 340 Central Ave. in downtown Hot Springs. The location was excellent, second only to the service.
For dinner I chose their rooftop restaurant and bar. The Rooftop as it was properly named. It offered amazing views on downtown and the mountains in the distance.
This is how their website explains it
Our exclusive rooftop terrace features indoor and outdoor space with garage door windows and awe-inspiring views of downtown Hot Springs and the National Forest. An inviting atmosphere for lunch, dinner, and drinks. Gather with your friends, family and co-workers and enjoy the best views in Hot Springs on The Rooftop.
Upon reaching the bar I was greeted immediately by Kay the bartender. She was outgoing and delightful and visited with me while suggesting some of their signature cocktails. I selected and promptly served as we discussed the menu.
I selected their version of a Caprese salad, an Heirloom tomato, avocado mousse, mozzarella, white balsamic vinaigrette salad followed by their Cajun Shrimp a dish of Blackened jumbo shrimp, dirty rice, remoulade. I will say both were absolutely delicious. Perfect serving sizes and very filling. I got to meet and visit with the cook Chris. I had to let him know just how great everything was. He was a great guy and seemed to really put heart into the dishes he made. I honestly chose The Rooftop for the view and to not have to walk too far in the heat but to my surprise it turned out to be an awesome experience. Thanks to an amazing view, a totally awesome staff, and delicious meal. If you are ever in Hot Springs I highly recommend The Rooftop and make sure you ask for Kay and tell her Chef Hunter Lee sent you. I will def be...
