My wife and I came here for Thanksgiving dinner and we were very disappointed. We had made reservations for 4:30pm in anticipation for a delicious turkey dinner. However when we arrived it turned out that they didn’t have any turkey available on Thanksgiving! We were forced to have to choose a different option for dinner. Unfortunately the only 2 remaining options were prime rib or ham, and we chose ham. The service was exceptionally slow which was surprising given the limited menu and large amount of staff compared to guests. Once the ham finally arrived at the table it appeared to be a huge hunk of fat. The sides looked as if they were plopped out of a can and thrown into a microwave seconds before they brought them out. The pumpkin pie they had for dessert had the smallest dollop of whipped cream and was also very dry. The entire meal was a large disappointment. To top it all off they had MANDATORY GRATUITY OF 20% on the bill. The service wasn’t worth 5% and the food definitely wasn’t worth the $95 for 2 it cost us. This restaurant The Avenue should be ashamed of the Thanksgiving dinner service they provided.

We went here for dinner. Headsup, if you're hungry and want your food to be available fast, this is not the place for you. We were told to sit anywhere. As soon as we sat, the server gave us water and took our orders. Thats when the waiting game starts, we ordered the ossobucco and the broken beef meatloaf, server said it will take 25 mins which we are initially ok. So we ordered crab cake as appetizer. That took about 30 mins before it was served to us. The crab cake was so good. You can actually see big chunks of crab meat on it. It took another 20 mins from the time time that we finished the appetizer to the time my entree was served. Ossobucco was fantastic, it was so tender and flavorful. The collared greens that comes with it was tad salty for my taste. So it took almost 1 hour for us to get our entree in total. Dont get me wrong, the food was phenomenal but with the wait time, i dont known if its worth it.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! Excellent service and great ambiance in the spacious dining area. The cold smoked filet steak was a savory delight. The portabello mushrooms were outstanding with a perfect texture and smokey taste. The broccolli was healthy and delicious. The duck confit tacos were also delicious. The brussel sprouts sauteed in butter were tender and tasty morsels. The peach skillet dessert was a sweet ending to an excellent meal. The selection of local draft beer was very good, and the milk stout was outstanding. In addition to dinner, we went back the next morning for breakfast, which was also outstanding. The fluffy egg omelet with bacon and tomato compote was done perfectly. The orange zest pancakes with whiskey infused maple syrup were delicious. The coffee was also very good. This restaurant is haute cuisine at its finist!

Staff and servers were polite, and while it was a Friday night, we arrived before the crowd. That being said if I was rating the food it would be 5 stars, but sadly the wait staff fell way short of maintaining that rating. After being seated and receiving water we waited several minutes before our waitress showed. We ordered wine, an appetizer & one burger entree to share. Several minutes passed. We noticed a couple who arrived after us got their bottle of wine and we still had none. Several more minutes passed. About the time my husband finished his glass of water a server came over to refill the waters and we asked him to check on our wines. Our appetizer arrived (bang bang chicken- delicious). Still no wine. Few more minutes passed. Finally she showed up with the wine, I commented ‘would have been nice to have it 10 minutes ago’ (more like 20), she apologized and blamed it on the bartender. Not long until our burger arrived- which the kitchen, again top notch, was kind enough to split and deliver on two plates. There were fries so we both asked for ketchup which was nowhere in sight. The girl returned with one dinky, shallow container of ketchup- come on folks- I know we ‘split the burger’ but you could fork over two condiments surely! Needless to say -not impressed and would love to recommend if you can deal with sub-par service just to have the...

First off I just want to say I wasn't headed to this place immediately, I was 1st going to go to what was called the Ohio club, but the rooftop caught my eye and looked irresistible. We took the walk down the gorgeous historic district and that is when it caught my eye the Rooftop. And I love nothing more than having food and drinks on a rooftop with a gorgeous view. So I can definitely tell you the view was nothing less of spectacular. That was to start of my initial shock as we were escorted by Justin the Server to this gorgeous scenery. Following that I started with a gorgeous 6 cocktail menu. I tried each of them until I landed on my favorite called the Apple jacks a delicious whiskey with a green Apple taste and a sugary rim. I can only say that I was in heaven. Next we moved on to a nice appetizer. We ordered the charcuterie board. It was delicious but it had nothing on the main entree. the entree was straight dreamy it put me in a coma once it hit me. I ordered the bourbon glaze salmon and my gorgeous Queen had the Grill chicken pimento pasta. The names do not do these dishes Justice. They were absolutely heavenly and if I was not full I would continue to eat with a gluttonous attitude. The only problem is that I have to leave this place because I would come back daily for breakfast...
