Hot Springs Convention Center — Hotel in Hot Springs

We didn't actually stay here this trip, but we did a couple of years ago, and it was really nice. The room is clean and updated as well as spacious. It has a great lobby as well as a bar that also serves food. The food is good too! Very clean establishment. It has an outdoor patio to enjoy your food and/or drink if the weather is nice. It is in a great location! If you want to stroll Central Ave and sightsee or go in any of the numerous shops and restaurants, they are all a very short walking distance as you walk out of the hotel. It's right next door to the Hot Springs convention center, so if you are at an event there, you can just walk over from the hotel. there's no need to fight any traffic. Excellent facility with concessions when available. Very clean restrooms. Some of the modern art installations make me think of that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" quote...we used to really have some amazing artists here, especially back in the 90s...Randy Groden,Binini, anyway...there are still a few around. Parking is a challenge here during the really big events and sometimes during business hours because this facity is across from city hall. First Step Got Talent show was held at Horner Hall. Many participants were in wheelchairs, had walkers, or used a cane. Navigation for them in public areas as well as the restroom facilities were excellent. Other events I have been to at the convention center has also always had enough space to navigate and not feel like a crushed sardine in a can.
