We chose the wrong pizza place... We came here based on some of the pictures and the deadhead vibe, but the reality of it is much different.
If you choose to eat inside, they sit you at a table placed strategically between the busy bathroom, the incredibly noisy kitchen, and a wooden door that the staff goes through ALOT. This door has an automatic closer on it, and SLAMS shut every time someone goes through it.
Our service was not great. It took her over 5 minutes to greet us, and then she would disappear for long periods, leaving our cups empty. When we did get refills, they were wrong, I said Dr Pepper 3 different times, and it still came back with Pepsi. Towards the end of the meal, she was just gone.... we sat and looked around for 15 minutes before she reappeared. The rest of my party had left, and it was just me when she finally did come back.
I am not sure where she took off to, but there must have been food because every time she reappeared, she would be eating something and then would take the food from the kitchen to be delivered without washing her hands.
The food was meh....the high point was the cheesesticks, maybe just get that and forego the pizza. The pizza had a thinner flavorless crust with barely any sauce and not much cheese. Seriously, more cheese on a Tostinos frozen pizza than on the $28, 14" pizza we got here. Oh, did I mention a 14" pizza with barely any sauce and cheese, served in an incredibly noisy atmosphere, cost $28? Yep, it sure does.
The server stated that it was the same crust for the cheese sticks and the pizza, but it was thinner and didn't taste the same. Maybe the garlic butter on the cheese bread wakes it up a bit. Maybe it was the lack of sauce on the pizza. I am not sure what the difference is between them, but they certainly didn't taste the same.
We threw out the equivalent of an entire pizza.
I would not recommend this place unless you just want to sit outside and have some...

Read moreBig families beware! $148 for 8(6 kids ages 5 to 17)….here’s the breakdown. Food was good. Where they had us wait on the patio was dirty and littered with trash. Only two small single use bathrooms on different levels-there were lines and continuous door rattling while taking our younger kids to the restroom. Also, this was the first time my wife and I and our six children (total of 8 in our party)were given the mandatory 20% gratuity on our bill, also they factored gratuity on the post tax amount and then rounded up at the end. When I asked the server why a large family is charged this, he said it was our right as a restaurant to automatically charge 20% to 5 or more. We tip, don’t get me wrong, but we also clean up our waste and stack plates because we know we are a big family. But I don’t think I would have gone 20% tonight based on the wait, cleanliness, and the fact that our drinks came after the appetizer was served. Here is the breakdown if any large family is interested.
We won’t be back.
