Greatful Head Pizza in Hot Springs offers a delectable dining experience that satisfies both the palate and the soul. From the moment you step through the doors, you're greeted by warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the staff, making you feel right at home. The inviting ambiance of the dining room and patio only adds to the overall charm of the place. But let's talk about the star of the show: the pizza. Each slice is a culinary masterpiece, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures that leave you craving more. The crust, hailed as the secret best part by many patrons, is a delightful blend of crispy and chewy, providing the ideal foundation for the mouthwatering toppings. Whether you're a fan of classic combinations like pepperoni and mushrooms or more adventurous flavors like barbecue chicken or pesto with sun-dried tomatoes, Greatful Head Pizza has something for everyone. Each pie is crafted with care, using only the freshest ingredients to ensure maximum flavor and satisfaction. But it's not just the pizza that impresses here; it's the attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience. From the carefully curated selection of craft beers to the friendly and attentive service, every element comes together to create a memorable meal. And let's not forget about the patio, where diners can enjoy their meal al fresco while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of downtown Hot Springs. Whether you're catching up with friends, enjoying a romantic date night, or simply treating yourself to a solo indulgence, Greatful Head Pizza is the perfect destination for a memorable dining experience. With delicious food, friendly staff, and a charming ambiance, it's no wonder this place has become a local favorite.

Big families beware! $148 for 8(6 kids ages 5 to 17)….here’s the breakdown. Food was good. Where they had us wait on the patio was dirty and littered with trash. Only two small single use bathrooms on different levels-there were lines and continuous door rattling while taking our younger kids to the restroom. Also, this was the first time my wife and I and our six children (total of 8 in our party)were given the mandatory 20% gratuity on our bill, also they factored gratuity on the post tax amount and then rounded up at the end. When I asked the server why a large family is charged this, he said it was our right as a restaurant to automatically charge 20% to 5 or more. We tip, don’t get me wrong, but we also clean up our waste and stack plates because we know we are a big family. But I don’t think I would have gone 20% tonight based on the wait, cleanliness, and the fact that our drinks came after the appetizer was served. Here is the breakdown if any large family is interested. We won’t be back. Menu states all prices include tax already and parties of 6 or more will be charged an instant 20% gratuity $17 Appetizer $18 Large Cheese Pizza $28 Specialty Pizza $28 Specialty Pizza $32 Soda for 8 Food Total= $123 9.5% restaurant tax in Hot Springs Food Pretax would be: $112.33 x20% pre-tax ($22.47 tip) - how tips should be calculated, on food only X20% post tax($25 tip) - how tip was calculated, on food and tax Total with 20% tip for a family of 8: $147.60 Final kicker…they rounded up to final charge of $148.

Artisanal pizza! Delicious! 4.7 stars- and this is why: we ordered two pizza and they were beautiful and nearly artisanal craft level. They are beautiful and they taste probably better than they look. The atmosphere is also fun and unique! We were able to get a seat outside on the side of the mountain. Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable. He helped us figure out which beer would be best for our pallet. We drank several beers from Hot Springs and some from Little Rock. Why would I normally give them less than five stars? Here’s why…They did not have any olive oil for us to drizzle on the pizza and their salad was a little disappointing. The local beer selection was good and they even had a few ciders that we enjoyed. We ordered a small Psychedelic supremo pizza and a large Tree Hugger. The psychedelic was by far our favorite… It it has the perfect balance of a little sweetness and salty with all of the many many toppings. The sausage was remarkable! The pizza dough itself is delicious - we wonder if they’re using some of the mineral water in the pizza dough amping up the flavor. The tree Hugger was characterized by having many whole green and black olives and several other delicious vegetables. It made us miss the olive oil even more. RANT: I don’t know why some pizza joints (not this one) always looks like they can’t afford to cover the whole pizza with the toppings. The grateful head pizzas are heaped with toppings and the flavor is amazing.

We chose the wrong pizza place... We came here based on some of the pictures and the deadhead vibe, but the reality of it is much different.

If you choose to eat inside, they sit you at a table placed strategically between the busy bathroom, the incredibly noisy kitchen, and a wooden door that the staff goes through ALOT. This door has an automatic closer on it, and SLAMS shut every time someone goes through it.

Our service was not great. It took her over 5 minutes to greet us, and then she would disappear for long periods, leaving our cups empty. When we did get refills, they were wrong, I said Dr Pepper 3 different times, and it still came back with Pepsi. Towards the end of the meal, she was just gone.... we sat and looked around for 15 minutes before she reappeared. The rest of my party had left, and it was just me when she finally did come back.

I am not sure where she took off to, but there must have been food because every time she reappeared, she would be eating something and then would take the food from the kitchen to be delivered without washing her hands.

The food was meh....the high point was the cheesesticks, maybe just get that and forego the pizza. The pizza had a thinner flavorless crust with barely any sauce and not much cheese. Seriously, more cheese on a Tostinos frozen pizza than on the $28, 14" pizza we got here. Oh, did I mention a 14" pizza with barely any sauce and cheese, served in an incredibly noisy atmosphere, cost $28? Yep, it sure does.

The server stated that it was the same crust for the cheese sticks and the pizza, but it was thinner and didn't taste the same. Maybe the garlic butter on the cheese bread wakes it up a bit. Maybe it was the lack of sauce on the pizza. I am not sure what the difference is between them, but they certainly didn't taste the same.

We threw out the equivalent of an entire pizza.

I would not recommend this place unless you just want to sit outside and have some...
