I go to Baoz all the time since it's right beneath my building in the Downtown tunnels. It recently expanded and only got better! I typically go for the steamed dumplings, and will mix it up between chicken, pork and veggie - all super tasty, so you really can't go wrong. I think what makes the dumplings even more enjoyable is the dipping sauce. It's the perfect blend of spicy, sweet and savory. Don't be alarmed if you catch me drinking what's left. I am also a big fan of their hot and sour soup, and even had a Chinese friend tell me it's the most authentic recipe he has tasted in a fast food type setting.

Not only was it severely lacking in flavor (hard to mess that up with such a strong flavor as Pina Colada), it was luke-warm, heavily watered-down, and almost $5! This straight highway robbery. As I received my drink and I tasted it and began walking away. Every step I took I knew I should have gone back and said something, but by the time I was upset about my purchase I was too far gone. I threw it away 1/2 full because there literally was no point in continuing to consume bland calories.

But the soup tastes really bad. I though it was just the broth that wasn’t to my taste, so I tried to eat the wontons by itself and they were extremely mushy and tasted really bad as well.
