I think I've been to all the BB's locations in Houston, and this location in the Energy Corridor is as fantastic as all the other locations. One of my big points to always consider is parking and this location is in a shopping center with sufficient parking. The decor inside BB's reminds you of being in New Orleans with a plethora of different knick nacks and wall decor. They have a full service bar so they can whip up any of your favorite drinks. I had a frozen margarita - surprisingly enough, it was one of the best I've had in Houston. They have an outdoor seating area which again reminds me of being in New Orleans. The staff is very friendly and management seems to have a lot of people there even of the restaurant isn't very full. We went on the weekend so traffic inside the restaurant was light. I would imagine they get the majority of their traffic during the weekdays since they are right in the Energy Corridor. Let me tell you about the food...prepare yourself for a rollercoaster of taste bud excitement. We ordered the chips and Magdaline queso (I think that's what its called). It's supposed to come out with spinach and vegetables...but it looked just like the regular queso you get at any tex mex place. However, it was really good and worth all the calories. I usually order the shrimp and grits because it's one of my favorite dishes. I've also had the salad with shrimp, which is equally beyond amazing. I hope you found this review helpful and make sure to check out the pictures of the shrimp and grits, the po'boy sandwich and frozen margaritas. I defiantly recommend BB's regardless of location as they are all...

WORST service ever! Been eating at this Eldridge location for years, and "service" has slowly gotten worse and worse. I think this will be the LAST time... Number 1 thing to note - this was in the afternoon, after 1pm SPECIFICALLY to avoid the lunch rush. The place was almost EMPTY with at least a half-dozen staff milling around inside, most cleaning tables. First, ignored at the door - seemed to take forever just to get seated, then the guy ran off, naturally. My mistake was sitting outside to try to enjoy the nice weather. Lesson learned... Took what seemed like 10 minutes for the waitress to simply come out and take my order. Again, not busy, so why? She claimed "nobody told me" I was there. Pathetic...or just a lie. Order again took forever. Saw multiple people coming in after I did getting immediate service. Order finally came, but wasn't complete. Waitress disappeared again, of course, so had to chase her down to get the rest of my food. Rest of forgotten order took FOREVER again - Jesus, it was just one piece of corn!!
Om my previous visits, they forgot utensils, salt, butter, napkins, and now this time, part of my order and the trash bowl (for shrimp shells). Like I said - just getting worse and worse over time. And, this to the management - no, you cannot say you were short-staffed or try to use that tiresome excuse of Covid for everything now. This wasn't the case - it's simply disorganization, AND an ongoing prejudice against single people, thinking they won't tip. Well, I did reinforce...
Read moreI went there thinking that I was going to get the 5lb for $35 Crawfish special. When I did order, I tried to order the special and the waitress informed me that the water creature special of the day was 2 Snow Crab Clusters and Shrimp. I asked her was she sure because crawfish was always on special for Wednesdays. She went to ask and sure enough the special was Snowcrab and Shrimp. She said that the specials change weekly. My soul was crushed, because I specifically went there for that special. I asked her how much the Crawfish was and she said $10/lb. I said "for frozen Crawfish"? She said "Yes". I said a few other words pertaining to that and we laughed. My craving for Crawfish wasn't at a point where I was feining, especially due to them not being in season and other factors. I'm a bit prepared to be let down during these times. I decided to go ahead and get the Snowcrab and Shrimp special. They have three flavors which are The Tex-Orleans Way, The Louisiana Way, and The citrus Garlic Way. I chose the Louisiana Way. It came out dry with NO JUICE AT ALL. The Shrimp were cooked well, but the seasoning was on the outside of the shell and not inside. The Snow Crabs were borderline salty due to the seasoning on the outside. I do not like seasoning on the outside. It should be on the inside. That is why I chose The Louisiana Way instead of The Tex- Orleans Way. I won't get the snow Crab and Shrimp again. If I do go for Crawfish, I will have to tell them that I do not want seasoning on the outside. In the past, I always had to tell them that when I use to go...
