On my way back into Houston I occasionally stop in for a quick bite or to use some of my accumulated BK Crown points but this visit was definitely not my normal experience. When I tried to use my points for a reward, the cashier insisted I had to make an additional purchase and after disagreeing & arguing with her, she got Manager Anna on the phone who explained the exact same "policy", which brings to question, why someone in charge chose to communicate with me via phone unless they weren't on the premises? If management wasn't on premise, then who is running the restaurant? City ordinance dictates a Certified Food Manager must be on premise during operating hours of any and all food establishments. My normal BK is the Kirby Drive location by my house and I have never had to make any additional purchase anywhere when using crown points. If you use points for a reward, you can only obtain ONE reward per visit on your account. The system logs the activity and you have to wait for some time before it'll allow you to obtain another reward. I fully understand this and this is how BK corporate has things set up. Nevertheless, I have my receipt that shows I was able to get my reward on this particular visit and the "required" purchase which was a 4pc nugget (which I threw away). If I had made another purchase on my account prior during that visit, I would NOT have been able to make another purchase using my crowns. I DO have the receipt showing the transaction and when I was contacted via email by a rep of the franchise owner, he obviously chose to believe whatever story that the location told him but I have the receipt and my account will also show that's the only time I used crown points that day. After I sent him an image of the receipt, I never heard back... typical. It seems like the franchise owner was attempting to increase the bottom line by initiating their own policy separate from what corporate has set up? Of course I plan on finding out once I contact RBI & 3G Capital. It's not about the $1.50 nuggets, it's principle. If corporate changed the policy, that's fine and I'll make an additional purchase as required but I suspect they haven't changed it... yet. Review-wise, the burger was as good as it usually is, the employee interaction was negative & unwelcomed as was the atmosphere of the restaurant. It used to be much better about 8 months ago but you can tell there's new management in place and apparently they aren't as efficient or customer oriented as...

I understand, my youngest generation of Burger princes and princesses don't need their little tongues scorched on their favorite fast-food burger. What might be a thought is going BACK to the " have it your way" theme? I'm certain that Burger š King would get a powerful surge of return customers if the news got out that you all will start ASKING if the customer , Wants their patties "extra warm" when we place our orders? A group of teachers and students on our class picnic took the poll earlier and I think we're going to take it to Twitter for the same feedback of, would supporters of BK appreciate that.... Some of us lived thru the 2 all beef patties on a sesame seed bun and the hold the pickles hold the lettuce, special orders DON'T upset us, era. Can we have the opportunity to get that from BurgeršKing once again, please? Wish I could post the Burger King picnic photos but it was a school event- no permission to do so from families š. These are some of the most unprofessional, disgusting, rude disorganized, incompetent ,uneducated, lowlife, uncomfortable, inconsiderate, did I say disrespectful?, people that God ever made. The health department needs to come in here. The restrooms have feces on the walls and the floors along with there being no toilet paper , no soap, no napkins no sanitizer, they have bugs in the food, and you specify what type of food roaches, they have rats along with red droppings around the table, legs of the restaurant, they are very dirty, like the ring around the tub. Please, if you have any respect for yourself, your family, or your children or your elders, please do not eat here or you will be very disappointed. I am very positive that this location will not be in business...
