Ostioneria Michoacan — Restaurant in Houston

I come to the restaurant with my husband. There is literally our table and 2 other tables. Place is more than half empty. Finally after 15 minutes the waiter comes to get our drink order. 5 minutes later they bring out horchata drink and says nothing. Yes he was polite. 15 minutes later the waiter comes to get our order after I called for him. Literally 28 minutes later we are still waiting for our food. Granted 15 minutes of those 28 minutes our food was sitting in the food line. Yes it was our food bc we were facing the kitchen area. I even told my husband I swear that's food is ours. I called for the waiter again and told them about the waiting and I specifically told him about the food that was sitting there for the last 15 minutes. The waiter replied back; well I checked and your food has only been waiting for 12 minutes!!! Thaaaa fk! waiter gives me the excuse that our waiter was helping a larger group of people and that they were busy. I looked at the waiter and Stated; Don't tell me that you're busy bc When we got here you only had 2 other tables. So don't give me bs. And Yes busier like 6 more tables but I'm still a paying customer. Food was brought to our table and guess what it was the one on the line. Cold as FK! I asked for my bill for the horchata which was like $3 and change; my husband left them $5. I left one star just bc I had to rate it in order to leave this long rating. I always get the same thing bc I do love it; but it's always the waiting. Which I understand is normal but not an hour wait and top it off food is cold. I would go back! I just think they really need to get the customer service part...

Honestly it only takes one time to get a bad review, I have always come here and have never had a bad experience until today. I had been ordering online like 5 times and I had send someone else to pick up my food there were giving her a hard time. I had send my daughter before and there was never an issue for the pick up. Then today she went again and since they were not giving her the food my mother gets down and tells them the information of the food, and still these waitresses were rolling their eyes and saying that they don't have anything. Then they proceed in saying they needed proof, as which was never asked before, and unfortunately at the time my mother was not receiving images for what I was sending her. So she gave the phone to the waitress and I was giving her verbally my order, just to find out it was literally the only order online sitting there. She said that it's a MUST to show proof, don't get me wrong I know some times is needed, but it did felt more that this waitress wanted to feel she was on the right and was not wanting to give the food out of petty and was holding it. And she told me that I need to show proof a next time. I told her that it's silly to force something that has been verified and that there would not be a next time. It took them more than 10 minutes to give the food when the food was literally the only one sitting there. Her and the other waitresses were so unprofessional, rude, and obnoxious hopefully they...

Was. In San Jacintio City stopped here for dinner . Inside looked clean.ordered Fried Shrimp and Fried Flounder meal. Pina Margarita. Out of Pina , so had to order another. Ordered queso with child for appetizer but came with meal .#2 mistake. Meal looked good but Fried shrimp and fried Flounder was bad . Fried shrimp was soft not crunch soggy type . Inside soggy .Flounder same not crispy . Soft soggy outside. Inside soggy.ate some ,fries were good . Very disgusted with meal . Did have another drink. Figured why complain would get same meal back instead of a freshly properly cooked meal. Barely made it home got food poison from poorly cooked meal. Made too many mistakes on a Sunday running out of a well known drink could get some from another store ? Serving an appetizer with the meal suppose to come before meal ! Should have refused the meal but dark inside could not see meal properly until cut the meal in pieces . Place NOT RECOMMENDED can not cook seafood properly and it's a seafood restaurant .
