My fiance ordered from here through doordash to comply with quarantine. We ordered $60 worth of food. Two full orders of nachos (mind yes we knew it was cheese, beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream) ribs and rice, a burrito, and ceviche. When we received the order, the 'nachos' consisted of two metal containers with 12 or so chips in each container with melted shredded cheese and like two tablespoons of beans... (no queso, melted rubbery cheese) mind you the other stuff was in containers on the side. We had a large bag of plain chips but no way to get any of the cheese on them. The ceviche was awful with a huge amount of oregano and excessive lime.... though really what you got smacked with was the oregano. The burrito was the cheapest thing on our order but looked the best. The ribs were okay according to my stepson to be. It's hard to explain with just words how bad this was. I called to speak to a manager but his response was essentially that's how it is and, since we went through doordash instead of them being the ones to deliver, we had to contact doordash's customer service and have THEM refund parts of our meal. Its not doordash that made the pathetic excuse for food they sent out. The 'food' we received from this place is extremely poor quality. If we could leave the house I would drive there and return this. I can make this at home better if I had what I needed here. The cheese could be made into a proper sauce just by heating it on low and adding cream slowly until it was the right consistency. This was literally chips thrown into a metal pan with shredded cheese and then thrown into an oven. This is NOT nachos. *Added picture. The post didn't allow it the first time.*

We will not be returning. I ordered the wrong drink by mistake, not realizing at Chachis, a sangria margarita is a swirl margarita. I was surprised when the purple drink came out, and my waiter proceeded to roll his eyes at me, refuse to look at me, and spoke to me an an unnecessarily snarky tone when he explained a swirl margarita is the same as a sangria margarita. I explained it was my mistake, and I was happy to take the drink. This apparently wasn’t good enough for him, as he then neglected our table the remainder of the night. This would not have been a bad thing (especially with his attitude), but I fell ill and needed emergency help. Our waiter was nowhere to be found, despite me looking multiple times. He serviced everyone around us, but refused to check on our table. I ended up fainting in the restroom, and injured my head, rotator cuff, wrist, and leg. I called the manager this morning to explain what happened, simply because I don’t want another customer to experience an emergency and be ignored. I explained the entire situation, including me fainting in the restroom and injuring myself, and the manager’s response was “well at chachis, a swirl and sangria margarita are the same.” At this point, I ended the conversation. Such a shame as many family and friends were loyal customers before this, ordering 100s of dollars in food each visit, especially during covid. We will be frequenting a competing restaurant from here on out.

We ate at this restaurant while we were in Houston. To start, the hostess was great she greeted and welcomed us in and had us seated In no time, I had got the steak quesadilla and a side of queso , they make the tortillas in house which is really good they are very good. The queso is very creamy and flavorful it’s perfect for dipping your warm tortilla chips in that they give you when you sit down and they are nice and warm and crunchy! They do have vegetarian options as my partner got the cheese enchilada and she said it was absolutely amazing, the kids got chicken fingers and fries and loved them of course , and someone at the table also ordered the chicken sizzling fajitas and put the queso sauce on it and said it was perfect. The only thing that I have that’s on the negative side is that the staff is really slow, the waiter took a really long time to take our order and then once he brought the food he didn’t even come back to check on us and then took forever to bring us our checks. Another lady working came around and gave us refills on our drinks. I still recommend coming to this place if you like authentic Mexican food because the homemade tortillas and stuff make the place worth it , no complaints about the food it was delicious!!

My husband & I came here Friday evening for a date night. We read the reviews & lots of our neighbors recommended it so decided to give it a shot. We came in at 5pm, before the crowd starts according to Google maps. We are pleased that there is no wait & get seated immediately. The vibe is so odd right from the start, as if they want to shuffle people in & out very quickly, yet the service is terrible. Waiter takes our drink order. Beer & water for husband, I'll have water & a order drink in a minute intold the waiter, I thought there'd be a drink menu. Husband gets his beer & no water, I get my water, both bot delivered by our waiter. Takes a while for waiter to come back for our order, we order & food comes out in a normal time frame but not delivered by our waiter, but we see him rush by multiple times & stop at other tables. Rice & beans are cold, rice is awful like half of it is cooked & the other half is crunchy, beans just don't taste good. Our waiter still has not stopped by our table since taking our food order. Someone passes by the table after my husband has finished his meal & beer & quickly sets down a water. So it's been 20 minutes at this point. I never get my water refilled or an opportunity to order a drink. The rush of waiters is insane. They move very quickly yet not efficiently & its super chaotic. The vibe is horrible for a date night place. Someone comes by & quickly takes my husband's cleaned plate & just walks away. No words, questions, no one checked in on us at all. Everyone just throws stuff on the table or snatches it up without any words. Very odd. I've now finished my food & we are still waiting to order more beer & dessert but no one comes over, & our waiter is still just rushing by. We finally decide to pay & leave. We've been here now for about 45 minutes & the last 20 of those minutes was us sitting with a cleared table, empty glasses, & waiting for a check. Finally my husband stops someone & asks if they can get our check. Suddenly our appears all shocked asking if something is wrong. Husband give his credit card so we can just leave. We went somewhere else for dessert & drinks. This place with the front door opening & closing constantly for waiters to go in & out to serve the patio creates so much chaos. We were distracted the entire time by the constant zooming about & horrible service. Will...

HUGE SCAM! For years we have ordered food here and it has never been great and rarely been correct but it is close and kinda better than the other Mexican food around here so we put up with it. When COVID hit they started adding on a bunch of fees but I understood, it was hard times. It is now no longer a global pandemic and they have started adding on hidden fees to to-go orders that don’t show up on your final bill when you order online and then you are forced to pay more when you get there. They say it’s 5% but then tell me why I’m paying $5+ extra dollars on my less than $50 bill. Also make sure you bring exact change! They refuse to give change and not just coins, they won’t give dollars back either. We keep giving them the benefit of the doubt but every time we go they add on extra fees that are constantly changing and never on the original bill and when I have to bring out more money to cover those fees, they refuse to give me my change. Over the years they’ve stolen way too much money from my family through withholding our change and these random fees they add on the spot that don’t add up to the percentages they claim they are. We’re done but I’m leaving this review to warn other families that this business will take and take and then give you the wrong food and yell at you when you try to bring it back. They are mean and have terrible customer service, same goes for the hostess at their Next Door location. They verbally abuse their customers with no care because they know they are going to make back any lost tips in random hidden fees and by taking customers change. Spare yourself and your wallet and drive a little further to a place that will serve you what you ordered and give it to you for the price you...
