Perla M. is the manager and Julia, Yadira, and Sigfredo all served us. Sigfredo is definitely our favorite. They are astounding but I will revel in their efforts in a moment. The food was very likely some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful with perfect lighting and deep colors. The table set up was exquisite with delicate wine glasses, supporting glasses for soda or water, warmed plates, polished silverware, and a soft, clean, and large napkin. The staff absolutely made the experience though. They were extremely attentive and genuine. I ordered a Dr. Pepper to start and it was perfectly chilled. They initially poured it in my glass for me but each time the level dropped more than a couple inches, they would top it off the moment they noticed — which was near immediate. They were generously prepared for all questions and circumstances. They knew every delicacy that would round the tables on a kabob. They also knew individual items that could be ordered separately such as their grilled pineapple — which was divinely bold in flavor. The presentation was also gorgeous with an even layer of charring and a sugar/cinnamon mixture. When the food rounded the table, they asked what temperature (done-ness) you preferred and they would give the ideal cut for that temperature. I’ve experienced some restaurants have a different definition of the temperatures than you would imagine yourself. They had the gold standard and it was exactly what I hoped for. Every cut melted in the mouth. I wish I had gotten pictures of the meats but it felt rude to be pulling out my phone. Their salad bar had typical Brazilian Grill options but they appeared and tasted much fresher. However, they had an assortment of expensive cheeses and smoked salmon. I’ve never seen that at a Brazilian Grill and they were beyond expectations, complimentary pieces. They got me to admit it was my birthday (which I hadn’t planned on saying) through happy conversation. They brought out a birthday cheesecake bathed in a sweet fruit sauce, with vibrant fruit topping it. These staff members were probably the most attentive, genuinely personable/charismatic, and professional I have ever encountered in a restaurant. I will be...
Read moreWe went to dinner yesterday with my two sons. We sat at a small table for 4. We ordered the fireball cheesecake like we always do. The server who brought it to our table was not the server who was helping us during dinner, he was someone who went to pick up dishes, I asked if I could order desert, he said he would bring it himself. We thought that was nice so we didn't have to wait, since it was a busy Sunday night. He brought our deserts. He asked one of his fellow waiters to let him borrow the torch they use to light fire to the liquor. As he was twirling the metal cup where they pour the liquor from, he was very distracted, looking around... observing everything except what he was doing. It made me a little nervous, but I reassured myself he knew what he was doing. I should have known better! We have been to this restaurant and ordered the same desert countless times! They always seem focused and exercise caution... well, this guys definitely was not concerned with safety. He lit fire to the liquor, put the torch down STILL ON, he laid the torch down on the table, right on my son's hand!!! I was in shock. My son was crying silently and it took me a second to react. He burned two of my 10 year old's fingers! They were instantly swollen, red, very painful for him for the rest of the night.
As he was pouring the inflamed liquor on the cheesecake, I told him he had burned my son's hand. THIS JERK PROCEEDED TO COMPLETE THE FIREBALL CHEESECAKE PRESENTATION AND WALKED OFF!!!!! NOT AN ACKNOWLEDEMENT, MUCH LESS AN APOLOGY. I continued to be in shock as I did the best to assess my son's burns and reassure him that it would be okay. In a matter of seconds we had 2 waiters and 2 managers at our table. Mind you, we did not make a scene, we did not call on anyone's attention... they noticed my son crying quietly as I hugged him. They brought us burn gel, apologized a few times, gave us the desert for free and gave us a coupon for a meal for one for "next time". I left there wanting to speak to management, but I did not. I was still in disbelief of the level of carelessness of that idiot. Anyway, I did not call to try to get him reprimanded, but I am leaving this review in hopes that it does not happen to...
Read moreCame here on a Saturday Evening. Place was pretty packed. Reservations are definitely recommended.
Price is 55 for dinner. Wasnt shown a menu for drinks other wise I would be able to provice that information.
We were seated in a glass enclosed dining room. There were about four of them to the right on the main hallway. They have about four tables inside each room seating be to 4 persons. The main entrance to the kitchenn is there too. You can peek inside there to see the meats roasting. Restrooms are located there too.
To the left of the hallway is the larger open dining area and the salad/cold bar behind it. Not sure what was the room behind it: I was concentrated on eating.
Service were brisk, after seating we were swarmed by staff as they placed in order the cheese bread, mashed potatoes, and plantains. All were excellent. One oversight was our drinks didn't come until twenty minutes into the meal. Once they were placed the refills were attended to quickly.
Meats were of high quality and well salted. Not too salty like Texas de Brazil. All the meats were tender and easily chewable. Lamb chops were of good thickness and juicy. House sausage was coursely ground and tastee like bratwurst. Very good. I did had to request a certain meat that was missing and they happily brought to my table.
Salad bar was especially good. Given the pandemic, they had plenty of staff on hand to obtain the items you point to them. You walk around the bar with a staff member as you make your picks. They had a variety of cheeses and meats. Smoked salmon was the best I had in this type of restaurant. The fresh mozzerella did not present too much of a fatty flavor and not squaky in texture. The preparred salads were excellent, they were crisp and not waterlogged. Standing out was the house salad which had a strawberry vinegrette, tossed with strawberries and grapes. The shaved parmesan in gave a nice savory contrast to the sweetness of the fruit.
Creme brulee was nice and creamy. Cost was about 12.
Would definitely recommend going with reservations and a...
