The Star of the Show: Mushroom Swiss Burger
The Mushroom Swiss Burger is the crown jewel of Pappas Burger's menu. This masterpiece is a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that will make your taste buds sing. The burger patty is juicy and cooked to perfection, providing a satisfying meaty base. The Swiss cheese melts beautifully, adding a creamy and nutty flavor that complements the beef patty wonderfully.
But what truly sets this burger apart is the generous heap of sautéed mushrooms. These earthy delights are cooked to perfection, adding a depth of flavor that is simply irresistible. The mushrooms, combined with the melted Swiss cheese, create a symphony of flavors that is both comforting and indulgent.
The burger is served on a toasted bun that is soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside, providing the perfect vessel for this culinary masterpiece. Each bite is a delightful mix of textures and flavors, making the Mushroom Swiss Burger a must-try for any burger aficionado.

Read moreMy family and I have been coming to Pappas Burger for over 20 years and had always had a great experience and great service, but June 21st was a terrible experience. We arrived at 8:20pm and ordered dinner ( three burgers and fries, nothing special). three other groups came in after us and ordered. We waited 25 minutes to get our food and the other three groups got their food before us. I asked our server twice to check on our order because I had noticed the other groups get their orders. we were told it was coming. when we got our order at 8:55pm we were told the kitchen was closing soon. I had ordered my cheeseburger with no tomato and no onions. I took two bites and found that it had both onions and tomatoes, but even worse the bread and middle of burger was ice cold. I immediately took it back to talk to the manager (Noah). I explained that we not only had to wait a long time for our burgers and that other people had recieved theirs before us, but it was cold and not made to my order. She immediately said our kitchen is closed and nothing can be done. she took it from me, took it off the account and gave me a gift card. No appalogy or even attempt to make things right. I told her I was not going to have anything to eat for dinner, and again she just said, " our kitchen is closed". I was angry but went back to our table and my family finished eating. we were the last group to leave, and as we left the restaurant, the group of servers were all sitting in a room eating burgers for dinner. They had plenty of time to remake one burger, which would not have happened if they had done their job well. I have eaten at many Pappas restaurants for years and never have I had an experience like this. The manager just did...
Read moreWe have been going to papas for decades, and in the past few years I've noticed more gristle in the hamburger than normal. Ate lunch there today after a very long time not going there and the gristle was worse than ever. I don't think most people notice it because they gobbled their food down but my friend at the end of the last bite got a big old piece of gristle in his hamburger patty, that's was very disappointing. Then the Greek salad is no longer the Greek salad it is the Mediterranean salad - it has sprouts and these little fried bean things that have an awkward taste to them. Hush puppies would have been supreme to what these little fried things were. The salad was supposed to have cucumber in it but there was no cucumber in mine. It was basically iceberg lettuce, maybe one or two little pieces of romaine which makes a salad so delicious. That was disappointing. All in all it was all right but on the next visit I'll just get the Mediterranean salad and ask them not to put the bean sprouts on it and the little fried patties that they give you with it now. I'm thinking I probably won't go back, that gristle problem was there years ago and has gotten worse after eating there today. The waiter was excellent, the burgers had a great flavor, but I just can't stand two or three pieces of spit out gristle in my hamburger patty on every bite. I'm very...
