This is one of the cleanest and most welcoming establishments in Houston, the staff is beyond sweet, and the food is a great healthy choice. I worked for a company very close by and I enjoyed the convivence of walking just a few doors down to enjoy a delicious meal on my lunch break. Every member of the staff greeted me with a bright warm smile, and they even remembered what I liked to order. On some days I would be having a bad day and I would go in and the atmosphere would instantly cheer me up. This business is in very popular area in Houston, you could easily miss it if you if you are not paying attention. However, they have an amazing reputation and with them being so close to the Medical Center area their customer base can include physicians, lawyers, police or just the everyday consumers having an outing or shopping experience. I appreciate the different variety of choices when it comes to the food. They offer Asian, Mexican, and American cuisines such as chop-chop bowls and fresh rotisserie chicken to compliment your meal. They have an amazing selection of fresh fruits and naturally blended pre-bottled juices to choose from as well. But my absolute favorite is the different complimentary salsas and hot sauce that you can add to enhance the flavors of your meal. You guys are an amazing representation of what a brand should be, you set the bar high for future businesses to come. The way you guys go about ensuring that costumer service is top tier is commendable. As a future business owner, myself, I would hope to have just as much of an impact on my costumers as you guys have. There is a saying that says hard works pays off and I do not have a clue what you guys’ story is but from the outside looking in I know that it cannot be easy. Maintaining a business can be hard and to have pounds of chicken available and ready every day takes a while to do, I am sure. I cannot imagine waking up in the early morning focusing on not only conducting business but the logistics of things as well. Not too many people consider of how small businesses handle daily operations, management and balancing the financial part of a business. From inventory to startup cost and all the way to providing a service. These things should be taken into consideration for all consumers when it comes to considering customer value. However, all in all I just want to say that you guys are doing an amazing job and you are amazing at what you have to offer the community. I wanted to write you a very meaningful review to express how you are viewed by your customers and if no one has ever told you before you rock so do not stop doing what you opened your business to do. One day I hope for the same treatment as...
Read moreSitting at home, watching gossip girl, and suddenly I'm in the mood for some chicken. I open up my ubereats app and noticed Chicken Kitchen and it was like a message from above.
I perused the options and opted for a quarter dark rotisserie chicken with 2 sides, cole slaw and plantains and the teriyaki chop-chop. I'm not going to lie, the meals reminded me of those from pollo tropical, a restaurant I LOVED when I lived in Florida. I excitedly dug in.
I will agree with some of the reviews that I'd prefer more of the chopped chicken on my chop-chop, but I found the bits that I had to be flavorful and yummy with the brown rice it was on top of. For a lil razzle dazzle, I added some of the cole slaw and plantains to the mix which made for an excellent meal. The rotisserie chicken was also very tasty. I usually crave rotisserie chicken every once in a while, and this hit the spot; succulent and we'll seasoned.
I definitely think I'll order from them again but I highly recommend that for to-go/delivered orders they separate the pita bread from the meal because my bread was wet from the dishes' ...
Read moreNot sure about the other reviews but this place is awesome. I owned a restaurant 3 years ago and I'm pretty picky. Staff was helpful. i usually ask the staff what i should order and i wasn't disappointed. I got some lime cilantro thai chicken on rice thing and it was awesome. the cashier even brought me more sauce (its counter service) instead of holding up a wall. Everyone was polite and helpful. service was quick and food was great. My blood sugar didn't even spike that much an hour later. I wrote this review after 3 visits. Each visit was the same. on the 3rd visit the like cook recognized me and asked if i wanted the usual... haha heck yeah I said. To be fair i did go in at 10:30AM ( i wake up at5AM) and it wasn't busy but i get the feeling they are pretty sharp at Noon. there were also about 12 catering orders going out when i walked in... Didnt even consider catering... Looks like a cool option. Im sooo over my firm ordering in sandwiches.... My favorite food book is the fearless critic a brutal review of Houstons most trendy restaurants. Im not blowing smoke. for the money this...
