Delicious Birria — Restaurant in Houston

I saw this place on Instagram and decided to give it a try especially for the trip to the farm afterwards, I really hate saying this but it was NOT WORTH IT! I think like myself many people saw the IG post so it was super busy and packed with a line out the door, seeing this made me hopeful and the place smells good from outside but our experience was horrible. First we were forgotten about with our drinks - they just never came & it's not like we ordered alcoholic drinks we ordered 3 limonadas. After about the third time asking about our drinks we were told they were out of limonada which would have been great to know from the beginning - mind you we had already eaten our food and we were outside in this Houston heat with a toddler and nothing to drink so the service here was terrible from here - with the exception of the front lady. Next the birria was okay but nothing more than average, my husband had a huge bone in his quessobirria - I can understand that this is normal but it didn't feel good when he bit into it. Service/Atmosphere:

Pretty decent place. They were recently featured on an IG Houston hot spots page so service wise I think they were slammed which means your wait for a table will take a minute and there is no seating outside so standing room. No problem though bc it would be too cluttered if they did put seating in. Customers all seemed chill, staff was overwhelmed but working hard. Spanish speaking only so you should have a basic understanding of what to say and what is asked of you.

Basic restaurant set up, feels like a spot I’ve been to in MX. Cartoons in Spanish on the walls.

Food/Drink:

We ordered: Giant Birria Quesadilla- literally pizza size. Birria Tacos Dorados Tacos Guacamole Mangonadas Dressed Modelos Michelada Regular

Birria has decent flavor but we were not served the consume which was a bummer bc it definitely would have made it even better.

Guacamole was super simple.

I didn't want to believe the low reviews for this place, but believe them ppl. This place is hot and dirty. There is NO farm to be found on the premises and the tacos look NOTHING like the promotional pictures or videos. I ordered the lamb birria tacos and the meat is no where near tender and you have to dig to find any cheese. I couldn't even finish them cuz they were so tough. We ordered drinks as well and the waiter came back to the table and asked us out of nowhere if we wanted to talk to his supervisor b/c they haven't even started making our drinks. We finally received our drinks, we ordered ones with mini bottles in them, and my bottle was FILTHY. I was so upset that they would even put that disgusting thing inside my drink!!!
