Update 10/25/25: My kids and I stopped here on my way to my sister's place and the food was good but the service was exceptional. Teresa was super sweet and nice and when the eggs were overcooked they took them back and brought them back right away with no issues. It was a really good experience for my kids and me.
So this is a story about how the manager was awesome and U er Eats is terrible. I placed an order through Uber Eats to the wrong location by accident. I noticed immediately, and went into the app to cancel. When I tried to cancel, the virtual assistant (because Uber Eats has no way to contact them but through chat) tried to charge me $30 "to cover the cost of the food if the restaurant has started preparing the food and the delivery driver." After reading this, I immediately called the restaurant and asked them to cancel the order which they initially said they couldn't do and then asked them not to make the food which they obliged. I circled back to Uber because I refuse to be charged for services I do not receive and asked for a representative. 10 minutes later (which was a long wait for them since I have never had to wait before) the representativw ultimately said the said thing even after I said I contacted the restaurant and told them not to make the food. The rep literally wrote "You would have to wait until the restaurant or the driver cancel the order." Then said "You can reach back out at 2 pm once the window for delivery has passed" then said they did all they could and immediately disconnected. I was understandably angry. So what did I do, call the restaurant again. I spoke with the manager (who's name I didn't get unfortunately) and he understood my situation and went above and beyond to try and fix it so I wouldn't be charged needlessly. He called Uber and cancelled the order from the restaurant then CALLED ME BACK and let me know. He was so amazing. He then let me know that I should use their app in the future because if there are any issues, Denny's has control over the situation. He was really great and I appreciate how nice and efficient he was in saving me $30+....
Read moreSecond time to this Denny's and seriously disappointed and angered by the way the cashier (who claimed to be the Manager) treated me tonight. All I wanted was a quiet, no issue dining experience and she ruined the entire night. I had a birthday email for the value slam I was using and when I went to the register, I was told the #7290 Denny's location doesn't honor any discounts or promotions because they're fake. When I asked for a pen to take down details such as location, her name etc., She refused the pen as well as telling me her name and threatened to "call the law" to tell them I was refusing to pay. How embarrassing and downright rude. The resolution I would like to see with her is she needs to be fired because now I never want to eat at another Denny's ever again. There are too many choices for breakfast available and I've never been treated like this or threatened ever. I'm writing this literally from my car outside the restaurant so everything is fresh in my mind what just happened. I'm sure she'll change her story but I have my receipt and I have my UNUSED promo code & email from Denny's corporate. On a side note, I also witnessed her pick money up from a table next to mine with 4 customers and she DID NOT ring the sale up but pocketed the money. If she is a manager, I would audit the books and check the video in the restaurant if there's cameras because I know employee theft when I see it. I guess happy birthday to me but the email & promotion from Denny's is useless. I paid by credit card and when I asked her to break a $5 bill for me so I could at least tip the waitress cash, she rolled her eyes and acted like I was putting her out because she had to open the register to make change. She's the perfect example of that one employee that will ruin a...
Read moreA wreck. Where to start? I was on my way to this Denny’s and got caught in the rain for 2-3 minutes. I popped into a store to get an umbrella and by the time I came out, it had stopped raining. Oh well, right?
Well, it didn’t matter at all that I had called ahead to ensure I could dine in as planned, nor that the staff member I spoke to was so friendly and welcoming that I was looking forward to my meal.
As soon as I entered the Denny’s the staff looked me up and down and prejudged me terribly. I feel sorry for any of their guests that are legitimately impoverished, given how horribly I was treated.
Seconds after I placed my simple breakfast order, my “waitress” brought over my bill. 😳👀 It’s not entirely her fault because the supervisor came over to ogle me and— I believe— ok this trash customer service maneuver. Well, ok. Some eateries require prepayment... no big deal.
But then, AFTER I paid (and yes, still tipped 20%) my food was cold and poorly presented. And I was essentially ignored for the remainder of my “service.” I have never in life been treated so poorly, and especially AFTER paying and tipping in advance. My “waitress” seemed very young, so maybe she didn’t know any better, but considering the way the supervisor figure came to my table and examined me, I suspect the issue is management down.
Whoever answered the phone was great. She definitely set my expectations for a pleasant dining experience. I hope she’s commended.
Everyone else was trash, and this experience was trash. I would NEVER come back, and would advise anyone to not even allow this establishment to be a last resort. Terrible customer service, errors on a simple order, cold food, and essentially ignored for the duration of my visit once I prepaid for my...
