I strongly advise against relying on online food delivery services, as they frequently fail to meet expectations, leading to significant disappointment. It becomes especially frustrating when orders placed at the last minute are canceled without prior notice. Such experiences not only disrupt plans but also cause undue stress when you're left scrambling for alternatives. Despite the convenience these services promise, repeated cancellations reflect a lack of reliability and accountability on their part.
Moreover, the anticipation of receiving food only to be let down can create a feeling of dissatisfaction that overshadows the purpose of using these services in the first place. Timeliness and dependability are critical when it comes to food delivery, and the failure to deliver on these fronts is disheartening. For those who rely on online food ordering for last-minute plans or emergencies, this unreliability can be even more problematic.
It’s advisable to plan meals in advance or explore more dependable alternatives to avoid such recurring disappointments. While occasional issues can be overlooked, a consistent pattern of cancellations erodes trust in the platform and diminishes its value as a...
Read moreIt was fine saturday morning. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered poori and dosa, and initially, the staff asked me to wait for 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, I followed up, and they again asked me to wait, assuring me the order was “on the way.” Another 10 minutes went by, and when I inquired once more, they finally admitted that the oil wasn’t heating.
In total, I waited for 40 minutes without receiving my order, only to leave empty-handed. This delay not only ruined my dining experience but also disrupted my plans. My friends, who traveled from Dallas to meet me in Houston, were left waiting for 40 minutes because of this. It was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional on the part of the restaurant staff.
I would not recommend this place based on this experience. The poor management and lack of communication completely...
Read moreFound this place by accident yesterday! We were supposed to eat Tuk Tuk next door … but my husband was in the mood to try some dosa … so we ditched Thai food and went with Indian food for dinner to-go. We ordered masala dosa, onion dosa, chicken biryani special and lamb curry. Total with tax was around $52. I should have checked the bags. The cashier asked me what we wanted to go with the lamb curry (rice or Naan). I told her rice and she said it was on the house. Guess what, we didn’t get the rice! The lid on one of the containers for the dosas was broken! Sauces leaked all over the place. The food was kind of spicy. My son’s stomach was in trouble! We ordered “medium”. Very little meat in the biryani and lamb curry. The portion was very small. Very disappointing as we love Indian food. If I knew they lied to me, I would have gone with Thai food next door! Not...
