Don’t think I’ll ever order again from here. The driver started yelling at me angrily, “no tip???! why no tip?!!” and started a scene as soon as he saw that I did not tip him on the receipt... I did not think that tipping is mandatory, it should come as a courtesy only if I am satisfied by their service and did not think that it was necessary when I decided to not tip him. (Mind you, I did not know that the delivery fee that they auto charge you at online check out does not include the tip to the driver until I googled just now (I am assuming that they get paid otherwise, based on hourly wage or something? There’s no way that they are getting paid 0 if people don’t tip them)).But this guy just started yelling in front of the whole apartment complex and it seriously scared me because he was an older/strong man and I was never shouted at by angered strangers before. I had to hurry back into the building because of him even though I knew the guy hadn’t handed me my entire order yet -that’s how much scared/surprised I was. Few minutes later, the guy called me again to hand me the rest of my order and by this time I had collected the courage to face him again so I went back. I tried to explain to him that he really scared me and that he should not do that to his customers and I was ready to tip him if he apologized. However, he didn’t say any words of apology and kept yelling at me. He was an old asian man who did not seem comfortable with english, but I don’t think that having a language barrier means that it’s okay to snap at other people or that you can’t apologize. His attitude/reaction felt so wrong. Imagine going through a bad evening for just a $25 pizza order. I am hoping that by writing this review, the guy will realize that his attitude can really throw people off and scare them. Hopefully, he will not do that again to any of his...
Read moreTerrible Experience with Customer Service and Product Quality
I've been a regular customer of Domino's for years, ordering carry-out and always enjoying the pizzas. However, my latest experience was nothing short of a disaster and has made me question the brand's commitment to customer satisfaction.
My initial order included two pizzas, one of which was customized. When I opened the boxes at home, one pizza was completely burned and inedible. Understandably, my starving son refused to eat it. I immediately called the store to rectify the issue. They agreed to remake both pizzas, and I drove back to the store, expecting a swift resolution.
Upon my return, I waited for over 10 minutes only to find out that they hadn't even started making the replacement pizzas. Worse, the staff seemed confused about my custom order. When the issue of the burned pizza was brought up, I was offered a flimsy excuse instead of an apology.
What further aggravated the situation was the staff member's blatant lack of concern. Even after messing up my order twice, there was no apology or attempt to make it right. In fact, she displayed a noticeably bad attitude while remaking the pizza. To my astonishment, she turned out to be the manager.
For a brand that spends billions on advertising, it's disheartening to see such a lack of investment in customer service training. A simple mistake could have been easily forgiven, but the complete lack of accountability and rudeness I experienced is unacceptable.
Until I see improvements in staff behavior and service quality, I cannot recommend this Domino's location to anyone.
I sincerely hope the regional manager takes a look at this review and takes...
Read moreVery rude customer service from a gentleman over the phone during the night shift. I placed a big order with this location (I never order here) in advance for a company party. I was expected to pick the order up today but I have been out sick with the flu so my colleagues did their due diligence for me. I never received a picture of my receipt from them so I politely asked over the phone if it was possible that I can have my receipt sent to me via email. he acted like he wanted to assist at first after he told me to come get it. I told him I have the flu and I live 30 min away. He then got very rude and told me to ask the person who came to pick up the pizza for the receipt. He is busy in the middle of a dinner rush. I need to call back. I advised him i am out sick with the flu once again and I have no contact with the person that went to pick up the pizza. I then asked could he please kindly call me back or take down my number when he isn’t busy anymore I would appreciate that since I am the customer. He continues to say how he understood what I would I was saying, but I need to wait. I never gave him any hostile energy. I was very mild mannered over the phone so I don’t understand why he escalated so quickly with his tone. I wasn’t being rude or anything. I just politely asked for a receipt because I was told that I would get one in the beginning when the order was placed. I don’t understand what the problem is, but this is not my home Domino’s and I will never order from this Domino’s again just because of service. I am very big on customer service because I work in a customer...
