I got online to check to see if my local Ulta had my perfume in stock. They did. However, they were running a promotion for a free travel size perfume for online orders only. So I decided to order online. That was a huge mistake! They shipped my perfume and cancelled my free travel size gift because they were "out of stock". I asked them to send me a the other fragrance that was in stock and they refused. I felt cheated and tricked into purchasing online. They gave me a $15 coupon for "the inconvenience" which can only be used if you spend $30. Complete hoax!
Then, a few days later, my tracking showed delivered to a dock. My delivery address is RESIDENTIAL. We don't have a dock!!! I contacted them again about the package being delivered to the wrong address, and they couldn't care less. They told me that it showed that the package was delivered successfully, so there's nothing they can do. I again told them that it's obvious that I didn't get it because it was delivered to a DOCK AND HOUSES DON'T HAVE DOCKS! So, the person said they would escalate the problem for me to internal services. The very next morning, I have an email that they sent saying that the package shows it was delivered successfully so there's nothing they can do. They didn't even look into it! The email was sent within an hour or two after they escalated the situation.
I called again this morning and they said they would escalate it again. They are giving me the run around and I have a feeling that I just lost $170 for nothing. I am disgusted with Ulta and will NEVER shop here again if they don't make this right.
I contacted UPS and they were amazing. They sent a driver to the location they delivered it to and they were able to get the package back. They delivered it to me the next day. UPS saved the day and Ulta didn't even attempt to help. They use the "free gift" as a bait scam and they don't care about their customers at all. I have been a loyal customer at Ulta for years, but my recent experience at the Memorial store has left me deeply disappointed. I felt the need to share my feedback to highlight the issues I encountered during my visit.
Upon entering the store, I approached a representative and politely asked for assistance in the hair items section. Instead of receiving help, I was directed to the hair department, where I found no one available to assist me. When I approached one of the hairstylists, they informed me that they were all occupied with other customers. Frustrated but determined, I returned to the same representative and persisted in expressing my need for assistance. Regrettably, she merely redirected me to another staff member who, unfortunately, lacked the necessary experience to provide guidance.
As if that wasn't disappointing enough, when I reached the checkout counter, I was supposed to receive a free gift with my particular purchase. However, the staff informed me that they couldn't locate the gift and were unwilling to offer the alternative gift available. This incident made me feel unappreciated and undervalued as a customer.
I have always been a loyal Ulta customer due to its wide range of products and the convenience of having everything in one place. However, my recent visit to the Memorial store has left me with a sour impression. The lack of attentive and knowledgeable assistance, coupled with the mishandling of the free gift promotion, has led me to conclude that this location's customer service is far from satisfactory.
Regrettably, I must say that I won't be returning to this particular Ulta location. As a loyal customer, I expected to be prioritized and receive excellent service, but this experience has left me feeling quite the opposite. Read moreI don’t care for this Ulta location at Town and Country. The employees are so rude and unprofessional. About a week ago after my medical appointment for severe back pain I went to pick up my curbside order. I checked in and patiently waited 15 minutes. I then called and was transferred to the salon which I didn’t ask for. I then called again and explained to them again that I’ve been waiting at curbside for my order after checking in. Finally a girl comes out and just hands me my items. I then pulled away to go home but I decided to stop and check my items in the parking lot. Surprisingly enough one item was opened with no seal. So of course I had to turn around, park and get off and go inside with all my back pain. When I walked in the girls were huddled around in a corner by the counter just talking away and laughing. I explained to them the issue with the open item and one of them gave me and attitude and rolled her eyes at me. I told her the items weren’t checked and just handed over to me and that I was also waiting a long time at the curbside . She said you should’ve of called us. I told her I did and then she just kept telling me stuff that they didn’t here the alarm and that I should of gotten of, etc . Etc.
