Dear Quiznos Marketing Team & Friends!
I don’t know who you got running your advertising anymore but you need to call up Don Draper or Benjamin Barry and get them in on this action because people need to know - this place is fire!
As a former Quiznos food disposal in the early 2000’s, I used to count down the minutes of practice after school so I could run straight over to Quiznos and get either the chicken bacon sub (maybe it was called chicken carbonara (sp?) I can’t remember because your commercial hamsters blew my mind so my memory is fuzzy) or the black angus steak sandwich. Sure, part of my joy was that my brother worked there and he was slinging those things at me with a fat discount, but I digress.
Someone needs to shout it from the roof top that y’all’s sandwiches are even better than I remembered after all these years. I just had the 12 inch, black angus steak, with an ungodly amount of extra horseradish and banana peppers served to me by two delightful people who, like me, are less than 24 hours removed from hurricane Beryl and they were as sweet as can be. The sandwich came out lightly and perfectly crisped like it was kissed by the sun on a partly cloudy day … after a stupid dumb-faced hurricane.
So, what do you say? Can you start a ping up your advertising and get a bunch more of these open like it was in the day when I could ride my bike to several street corners and enjoy a toasted sub on the daily? Also, hire my brother...
Read moreStaff was okay at being friendly. Food was good. I normally don't eat here, but T mobile offered subscribers a free 8 inch sub, so that drew me in to order lunch for my family. Was ordering and staff person tells me that the offer expired yesterday. The app says it expires in two days. They said the owner contacted Tmobile and told them he's not honoring the voucher anymore. I guess I can understand an owner's decision, but i can't help but feel this sort of thing is such a bait and switch tactic. Nothing in the Quiznos app tells you they don't honor it at the location or just at participating locations. The owner says he's not honoring the voucher right in the middle of the Thanksgiving holiday. Convenient. The staff must get this a lot, because they didn't offer any apologies. A little consolation for a disappointed customer coming in just because of the offer wouldn't be unreasonable, right? I hate leaving a place with such bad feelings, but it was hard not feeling like we got duped. Anyway, my two cents and I'm guessing the same may or may not go for others who have gone...
Read moreHere's the thing. The food here tastes great. I like it. It's clean, fresh and the bread is fantastic when toasted.
My only qualm is that, as a vegetarian, I ordered a sandwich without meat. But the woman who was dealing with my sandwich had just touched a bunch of chicken right before she vegan making my sandwich. I didn't like this. Maybe I'm picky, but to me, that's just unacceptable. Now granted, perhaps were English wasn't up to par and she didn't understand what the word vegan meant, but whatever...
