This place is really good. Small and cozy place, interior is more of like Indian theme. I like the spices and variety, it is close to authentic Indian taste. We tried :
Vada pav (Mumbai style) this one is okay, I would recommend to try ahemdabad style as that is more flavourful. 4.5/5 for ahemdabadi style Misal pav - it's a must try. I have searched many places in Houston for misal pav but they have the best one till date. 5/5 Shikanji - 4/5 Peri peri sandwich - this has a mixed taste with vegetables and paneer having mustard sauce and chilly sauce. Something different. I really like it. 4/5 Pav bhaji - their pav is really soft and fresh but bhaji is above average. 3.5/5 Chhole bhature - the bhaturas are very soft. Chhole are not Pindi chhole but close to chana. Overall, taste is good but do not relate it to pujanbi chhole bhature Masala chai - this one is the best chai. I am a tea lover and like strong tea. I love their chai.
For me, the go to food will be chai and ahemdabadi Vada pav any day here.
They also have separate kitchen for jai bhavani ( pure veg) and eggmania....
Read moreFantastic food. Everything on their menu that I've tried is so rich and absolutely delicious. Their toofani paneer sandwich in particular was absolutely incredible. Very well buttered and toasted crispy flaky bread, great sauce, and sooo much paneer. They don't skimp out on any of their ingredients, so you get everything you pay for. They also have a very wide menu, particularly because there's 2 restaurants with separate that operate through the same staff and ordering system, with some pretty unique options on their menu(s), but everything has always been available still (which is quite rare for places with menus this diverse). Soo many veggie options as well, which is fantastic. Great vibes and atmosphere inside too. Feels like a Desi café in there. Can't recommend this...
Read moreWith due respect to the effort of the business owners who I don’t think know anything about food quality or taste, everything we ordered was premade and served heated/warmed, oily, tasteless and not worth a penny. Go and try it for yourself and you’ll agree never to go back unless they realize sooner than later. The service was good and the ambience was not bad. Music was nastily loud (Atif aslam with his nasal made it worst) long story short…not worth it. I wouldn’t spend $100 for eating bread soaked in butter and a frozen chapatti microwaved and dipped in oil which turns into papad within seconds because it was clearly microwaved. Common guys, people are not stupid. Please improve things if you want the...
