I have been a regular customer of Zaika To Go for a long time, often ordering from them at least three times a week. I’ve also trusted them with catering orders totaling over $300–$400 in the past.
On one occasion, they made a mistake with my order. When I called to let them know, the person I spoke with admitted the error and promised me an $8 credit toward my next purchase. However, every time I visited after that, I was told that the person who offered the credit “wasn’t working today” and that I’d have to come back when he was there.
Finally, on a Saturday when he was working, I placed an order and asked for the promised credit. Instead of honoring his own word, he told me that I was actually at fault—despite previously confirming the credit himself. In the end, they refused to acknowledge their mistake.
It’s disappointing that after so much business, including frequent weekly orders and large catering purchases, they would lose a loyal customer over an $8 credit they themselves promised. Unfortunately, this experience has cost them my business. His...
Read moreAs we went shopping and started looking out for some good restaurant for a to-go, this small food space caught our attention and we just walked in with very little expectations. But it surprised us with their menu and warm service. The menu has a lot of variety and we were literally confused with what to try.

He meticulously answered all our questions regarding the ingredients as some of us have food allergies. He even showed us the portion sizes and helped us correctly estimate the quantity of the order. He recommended us some popular and best dishes along with some day specials.
The food tasted extremely delicious and fresh and the kids loved it. Now we have a budget friendly to-go place added to our list and we definitely plan to...
Read moreI used to love this place and come all the time. Today I came In with my friend (non Indian) to invite her to try Indian food. We ordered samosas and puffs and the food was great. As we were leaving I got up to pay and my friend was still sitting...after paying before my friend could even get up, the South Indian counter guy told her "hey make sure you clean your own plates and throw out your trash" I replied "she hasn't even stood up yet, and yes we can read the MULTIPLE cheap signs everywhere to clean up, but that's rude as she hasn't even stood up". Mind you he wasn't doing ANYTHING!!!! not a single customer was in the restaurant. I mentioned that to him also and said it was very rude for him to scream out that way.
The customer service really put a downer on this place and a bad representation of Indian hospitality to a non...
