I went in with my best friend Saturday night, we were charged a cover that was 20$ each the night we paid the cover it showed 40$ on his banking app was charged, today now that it’s no longer pending it’s been changed to 48$??? On top of that Saturday night while we were in, I ordered one SINGLE WELL Vodka and cranberry I watched the bartender pour the well vodka and use an 8 count for the drink, I am a bartender so it’s common for me to watch the liquor count, I proceeded to inform the bartender I only wanted one single, she ignored me swiped my card and then walked to the other side of the bar to start taking orders I had to grab a different bartender to get my card back. Then I ordered from the patio bar that is in the former tailgate courtyard. I ordered from a bartender that the second I asked for pricing to determine the shots I wanted started to tell me in Spanish that she couldn’t speak English very well after I watched her have very full length complex conversations IN ENGLISH with other customers and the previous week with ME when I was in with some other friends. So I responded in Spanish that I would like two well vodka shots with lemonade or sour mixed in. Again my card was swiped handed back to me and she walked away after I got my shots, before leaving I went to close my tab and was told no one had a tab for me, i looked at my bank and saw two pending charges and the bartender told me ones a pre auth and the other a charge yet at both times I closed I was never given a receipt and when I asked to speak to a manger I was told one wasn’t there and that they wouldn’t be able to do anything even if there was one around, and when I asked for them to locate my paid tabs and print those receipts they said there was nothing under my name to print which is Bs since I have two charges! and today the amount that’s finalized is different than the amount that was pending. I never was given a receipt to sign or tip, I tipped in cash, I was charged for two doubles when I ordered one single vodka cran that shows today as a 29$ charge and two well vodka shots with lemonade for 25$? And since the amount has change now that it’s no longer pending I can only assume that they added their Own tip after I left since I was never given a receipt at any point and every attempt to call the store results in a voicemail box that is unavailable. I am extremely disappointed and of course my bank can’t correct the issue since I was never given a receipt for any transaction. Y’all should be ashamed of the way you let your employees run your business this was once a favorite spot of mine but after how I was treated Saturday I...
Read moreThe place is nice, the service from the waitresses are good, the food is very nice, but this place has to train their security people better. We went in on a family outing, showing our friend from out of the country a good time. Everything was good up until the final moments. We had asked for our check at 1:53am, after waiting for 10 mins the check would not come, and I really had to go to the restroom, I try the bathroom in Patio2 and they tell me to go to the restroom at the main entrance. When I get there, this really rude security states that if they allowed people to go to the restroom they would close at 3am and that I was on my own. While I was trying to talk to another waitress and explain that I was waiting for my check of more than $1800 but in the mean time i really needed a bathroom, another Women tried going to the restroom and this "SECURITY" looked at her so angry, and responded very aggressively. Then I went back to Patio 2 where ALL OF MY FAMILY AND MY BELONGINGS WERE WAITING FOR ME, the security guard that is there very aggressive tells me I cannot come in and that I should stay out even when my husband, and the rest of my family where still waiting to pay. My husband comes towards the gate and ties to explain to this man that I am his wife, we are paying and getting ready to leave, this man proceeds to PUSH MY HUSBAND, AND GRABBED HIM BY THE COLLAR OF HIS SWEATER. My Husband maintained his calm but obviously defended himself, as he was not doing anything wrong but protect his wife. This person would just tell my husband that he was going to hit him in the face, so obviously I got in the middle. There are plenty of witnesses that saw this and tried helping because they knew we had done nothing wrong. Finally the supervisor of the security guards came and made him let go of my husband. THE SUPERVISOR DESERVES RECOGNITION as he knew how to de-escalate the situation. But it's unfortunate that a place so nice is damaged by the ANIMALS they have as security guards that want to hit customers who spend their well earned money when did nothing at all to deserve this guy to be so aggressive. Once we were outside we saw another customer with a yellow shirt who tried to help us and he mentioned this security guard ended up hitting him in the face. We are Colombian and loved the place, but this has had me with panic attacks since Sunday morning, and we are inquiring with our lawyer to see what can be done regarding...
Read moreThe first time my daughter and I stopped at Fabian's was on our way home after a long morning in the Medical Center. I have passed by the restaurant a million times and felt curious each time, but never went in. I really didn't know what to expect, but I was very pleased head-on because we were greeted by the owner before we walked in the door. (we didn't know it was the owner at the time) I'm very critical by how we are treated by a company's employees no matter the type of business. We sat at a table where I could have a good look at the place from the inside. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. The music at the time, didn't fit with the theme, but I thought maybe since we went at a time between lunch and dinner, the music was for the employees to get ready for the next crowd. I didn't mind. It was still nice music. Our waitress, Savi, (I think was her name) was excellent! She was super nice and welcoming. The food was delicious and the presentation was excellent! There was one problem that I have to mention. There was one person whom I felt a bad vibe from, but I overlooked it at the time. Again, after another appointment in the Med Ctr, we stopped at Fabian's. Again, we were greeted by the owner. Sat at a comfy spot and again, were treated excellently by Savi and another pleasant young lady whom I didn't get her name. We learned later in our stay that the person who greeted us both times was Fabian, the owner. He was very down to earth each time and asked us how things were and if we needed anything. Unfortunately, the same negative person was there. My daughter said she heard him talking about other employees and we both heard curse words, which was VERY inappropriate and unprofessional, especially talking like this in front of customers. Although, at the time, there was only a handful of people based on the time, it should never have happened. I don't feel I should have to go to a restaurant to bond with my daughter and have to hear negativity throughout our visit, especially coming from a disgruntled employee. Regardless, my daughter and I had a wonderful time in a fabulous restaurant, eating delicious food, and were treated like VIPs. I recommend this restaurant to everyone! Thank you, Fabian, to you and your wonderful staff!
I will say this last one thing. We will go have to join the night life when the...
