Drunk Shakespeare at The Emerald Theatre: (GPS directions and lack of large signage made it difficult to find, but it’s directly across the street from Solecita / Franks Pizza.) Methinks I stumbled upon a comedy of titillating delight, a play so enchanting it had me giggling like a wayward maid. 'Twas an adult humor extravaganza, where jesters and jokers reveled in their ribaldry, leaving no innuendo unturned. Verily, it was a riotous romp that would have made Falstaff proud!
The cast, oh, what a merry band of miscreants they were! Their performances were as lively as the banter between Beatrice and Benedick. The leading man, a master of mirth, delivered each punchline with the finesse of a seasoned court jester. And the leading lady, a saucy siren of wit, bewitched us with her quick tongue and impeccable timing.
Each line dripped with innuendo, causing laughter to ripple through the audience like the waves of the tempest. 'Twas a true feast of language, where smut and sonnets danced a merry jig.
If thou art a fan of the Bard, and a connoisseur of adult humor, this play is an absolute must-see! 'Tis a rib-tickling romp that combines the wit of Shakespeare with the sauciness of a Shakespearean after-party. Thou shalt laugh, thou shalt guffaw, and thou shalt leave with cheeks sore from grinning. So, grab thy tickets, thy drinks, don thy best doublet, and prepare for an evening of unruly laughter that even the prudish Malvolio would...
Read moreThe Society of Drunk Shakespeare's production is a fun and unique take on classic Shakespeare plays. The show features a cast of actors who drink varying amounts of alcohol before and during the performance, which leads to some hilarious and unpredictable moments.
The show begins with the audience being offered a shot of alcohol as they enter the theater. This is a nice touch, as it helps to set the tone for the rest of the evening.
The cast of the show is very talented and experienced. They do a great job of performing Shakespeare's text, even while they are intoxicated. The show is also very funny, and the audience had a lot of laughs throughout the night.
While there is some drinking on stage, the actors seem to be in control of their intoxication, and they do not pressure the audience to drink any more than they want to.
Overall, I would say that The Society of Drunk Shakespeare's production is a fun and entertaining show that is suitable for most adult (over 21) audiences. However, it is important to be aware that the show does contain some elements that promote drinking. If you are uncomfortable with drinking, you may want to choose a...

Canceled their 3pm Mother’s Day show on short notice, no reason given, and refused to refund me. I had purchased 4 tickets.
They have no phone number to call, and only communicate via email and choose to ignore or just not reply to you.
My mother is the sole caretaker for my bedridden grandmother and doesn’t get out of the house ever. I had hired a nurse to come and take care of my grandmother for the specific window of time needed to get my mom out of the house for a Mother’s Day outing, and by the time this theatre company canceled their show with no reason given, the plans had already been set and the nurse couldn’t change her schedule to accommodate a later show.
My mom was unable to attend now due to this theatre companies LATE cancellation on a day which many people plan for weeks and weeks in advance (Mother’s Day).
This theatre has refused my request for refund and forcefully transferred my tickets without my request.
0/10, they will cancel last minute...
