Had not so good experience on catering order. Order was delivered an hour late. Food was cold. The driver got lost downtown. He was a nice kid, very apologetic. Said they'd give us 10% discount for late delivery. A week later went to check my card to see if they actually did give me a discount only to find 2 charges from the place instead of 1. First for $348 for food without tip and another for $413 with the tip. Both charges were placed on the same day and were not in pending status, but confirmed. Called the restaurant to get this straightened out. The lady (manager I was told) who I was transferred to said they were only showing 1 charge on their end for $412, and I would have to come in person to show them the statement from the bank. I asked if it was possible to email it to them. She said that I could try but it would not work. She was not very cooperative or trying to resolve the issue, but trying to get off the phone as fast as she could. She told me it was not a problem for me to drive up there as downtown was just a few minutes away. The problem is that catering was for the downtown meeting, but on daily basis I'm 40 miles away from that place. She did not want to hear any of that. I did email my statement with the explanation, but no answer. Now have to waste my time, money on fuel to hand deliver my bank statement to get my money back. Very disappointing experience and certainly going to be using different company for catering in future. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is for delivery driver. Read moreI wouldnt recommend this to anyone, maybe before carey the new director of ops got hired yes but not cinse then, he started changing things like the quality of the mean and reducing quality to profit more and to top it off the guy has sever anger management he screams at everyone and thinks is ok, he abuses his position and is very disrespectful and to top it off he always shows up to work higher than a kite in a windy sunny day. One time I took a box to his car and it stunk like weed it was so strong I couldn't bare it. Over all this place is rolling down hill with him being in charge he fired me because he claims sales have been going down when in reality I double the sales and he thinks I don't know but sales dropped because he closed my website for one week and I wasn't receiving orders from the website and I figured it out I realized he was setting me up. I am relieved to know I don't have to suffer his mental abuse anymore. I phoned yesterday to confirm everything was good with my order for Noon delivery on Friday and the lady said yes. Today late in the afternoon I get a call to say they’re not opening till 3 on that day and offer to cancel my order or deliver it hours later with a discount. Since I’m hosting that won’t work and I ask them to cancel. Given it’s the day before Thanksgiving and things close early I’m now phoning around numerous places trying to secure a new delivery which is challenging.
