La Pupusa Loca — Restaurant in Houston

I always order the pupusas from here with the Uber eats app. The last few times I ordered a drink from them and was charged and they never sent the drink. This time I called ahead and heard the Uber driver arguing with the lady that answered the phone. She was telling him that they would not charge for the drink. (The Uber eats driver knew what he was talking about). I then told her to call him back in and send me my 32 oz drink of anything (she sent Tamarindo). She argued with me AND WAS RUDE!!! She sent a small drink and now its 3 times that I was charged for something that I did not get. I am going to Variedades El Salvador on Long Point - where they are rude but I get my order right. Dont order to go from here and their pupusas...

If you are craving some papusas you should def try this place. They have vegetarian options, actually they have a full menu with lots of options for everyone's taste paletes. We tried the papusa bombs in bean and cheese that I would highly recommend in any flavor. I also tried the steak and onions that was good but a little different from what I've tried at other South American restaurant as it was tomato based. I got it with some fried yuca because who doesn't like fried yuca. I wanted to try the strawberry smoothie but they didn't have any strawberries so we tried the limeade. Def try that as it reminds me of Brazilian limeade but not as thick and frothy. Will def come back to try...

Food is decent yet customer service & the long wait on a slow day is horrible. I can't imagine what a busy day wait time is. It would be nice if the only 1 waitress working could tell you that wait time on even drinks is 40 min & to mentioned that after all the wait she informs me that they don't even have the drink. I definitely will NOT ever dine in again. I felt embarrassed to even invite my entire family there. There were only 3 tables & not once did the waitress even came to ask if we needed something. I had to get up & wait on her as she ignores guest & she completely ignores the phone ringing. & still has the guts to charge 2 extra drinks....
