none of the employees make any effort to plug in the ADA motorized shopping cart, so therefore the cart is worthless. One cart does not even work which makes it even MORE imperative to keep the other cart plugged in. Employees literally told me that it was "not their job" to plug it in, that they are "too busy" to reach down behind the cart and to plug the cord into the wall. So if the cart is dead at 8 AM it will remain dead all day because, for all those hours that they are open, from 8 to closing, NONE of the employees can be bothered to plug a cord into the wall. Plugging a cord into a wall is something that all 10 year olds can easily do. Yet NONE of the aldi employees can do this simple task. Actually they CAN all do it, but none CHOOSE to do it, because, as I was told, "they are too busy" to plug a cord into a wall. Over a 12 hour day, not a single employee can get off their ass and go plug in a cord. I bet they are too busy to change the toilet paper in their bathroom also. Too busy for basic human decency, too busy to make sure their handicapped customers are taken care...
Read moreI am so happy to have an Aldi in my neighborhood. I can get in and out of the store in far less time, and find everything I need. The prices are great too. Great produce and the weekly specials are on items I use. The Aldi house brands are excellent quality and contribute to the savings. I took my sister there, and she is now convinced it is a great addition to Spring Shadows area. The system to put a quarter to use a basket is great because you get the quarter back when you return it to the basket row. That way you do not have baskets all over the parking lot or worse yet, people stealing them and dumping them in Buttermilk Creek hike and bike trail. I take my own cloth/plastic bags so I do not end up with plastic bags that get thrown in the trash. Once I got used to their sytem, I find it easy to shop. I still go to the bigger stores, but Aldi fits the bill most of the time for me. Welcome to...
Read more2nd time there 1st grand opening. Getting assistance in there is not available 1 cashier nobody on the floor. It is convenient however im not convinced about the quality of no brand food thats not recognized. What irritates me the most no bags available for customers, at least they can offer some enty boxes? Saving $ for plastic bags just doesn't make sense to me? What makes sense is customers that really need some help or anything there's no staff? Thank goodness I was only picking up a couple items. Keep in mind Executives of Aldi that you built a store in the middle of an area where 60% of the population is senior citizens? Furthermore I'm just not comfortable with un heard of brands of FOOD? HOPE ITS NOT...
