This was my first time visiting this restaurant and it was very much okay. However, when my salsa was brought out there was something on the side of the bowl that was fabric texture so I didn’t eat that one. The other 2 salsas were fine and tasty. The green one was my favorite. I ordered Carne Asada Fries, 3 chicken enchiladas w/ rice and beans and a beef chalupa. The fries has beef, chili con queso and jalapeños on the top. I would give those a 5/5! Very tasty and filling. Everything tasted fresh The chalupa was piled high with lots of toppings including lettuce, tomatoes, beans, beef and cheese. Sour cream and guacamole comes on it as well but I opted to leave those out. I would give it a 4/5. It was a bit cold. The enchiladas were my least favorite. I wasn’t aware that they put white cheese in the beans and I don’t like shredded cheese so that was a no for me. My rice also has shedded cheese in it which was new to me because I’ve never had that from a Mexican restaurant before. The tortillas on my enchiladas were hard and there was a lot of fat on my fajita chicken pieces. I would give it, personally, a 2/5. For my drink I had a strawberry margarita on the rocks with a tajin rim which gets a 4/5. It was really delicious. I just wanted it to be stronger. Overall the restaurant is nice and clean. My waitress was great as well.

No chicken on the soup just bones. Small scoop of meat for ENTIRE burrito. Food is ridiculously flavorless.Workers attempt to overcharge you. I wanted the burrito lunch special that's suppose to come with a soda and soup. I got my burrito and was waiting for the sides however the ladies were just standing there. I asked for my soda and soup and she started to ring me up for them as extras!!! Despite it clearly stating on the menu!!! I decided to not get the sides and ended up with a $10 burrito with no sides. not even sauce, lime or salt. Plus the burrito was burst open and not properly wrapped. Despite my better judgment I decided to give this place a second chance. As its close to me and I was hungry. I ordered the burrito lunch special again but this time pointed at the lunch special sides on the menu while asking for them so they wouldn't try to overcharge me again. However the burrito lacked even more meat than before. It was majority rice guac and sour cream. The chicken soup literally didn't have chicken just chicken bones. And the sides it came with (fries, rice, and beans) were literally flavorless. Not even salted at the very least. Will never return to terrible gross overpriced food with trash service.

I will start by saying that this low review isn’t about the flavor of the food. I actually come here occasionally and love the barbacoa tacos. My review is about the chilaquiles plate I ordered. The menu they gave me stated that my plate came with tortillas, but when I told the lady my order, she said that in the chilaquiles plate, the tortillas are already in the chilaquiles and therefore do not come with the plate. So I had to buy a side of tortillas. Ok, fine, I ordered the plate but then I remembered it stated it came with fries too, but my plate had only 1 fry! So I thought I was going crazy so I checked the menu in person again and I even checked it here. It states it comes with tortillas AND fries. That’s not all, though. I had to pay extra to get some tortillas but the tortillas were haphazardly heated up and were hard and cracked. I recommend they fix their menu and at least give the people decent heated tortillas, especially when they were charged for them separately. I am attaching pics of the description, the plate, the SINGLE fry, and the tortillas.

I am changing my review. I live 3 minutes from Taqueria Cancun, and I have been coming here for years, but no more. I recently went for breakfast with a friend, and we ordered two breakfast platters of huevos con carne asada which used to cost $6.95. I didn’t think anything when we ordered from the menu and the prices were covered up. However, when I paid my bill, the total was $33.50 with a $1.06 processing fee, for a total of $34.56, and I left a tip, making the total $40. This didn’t seem right for two breakfast platters, a coffee, and an iced tea, especially since the platters did not come with much food. I wish I had taken pictures of our food. When I went back to the restaurant to ask about the total, I was told that each breakfast platter was $11.95, not $6.95 as shown on their online menu. When I asked to see the menu, they had to look through all the menus to find one where the prices weren’t covered up, and the price was changed in permanent marker to say $11.95. This is clearly a shady pricing practice. My brother is in the hospital and was craving Cancun’s fried shrimp platter, but I told him I would get him something somewhere else, because I’m not returning to Taqueria Cancun.

My old review: I love the fried shrimp at Taqueria Cancun. The breading is light and crunchy, and the shrimp is clean and deveined. And they serve Mexican Coke! Service was okay and not that attentive. I had to ask for a glass for my Coke, and our food came out at different times. No one checked on us after our food came out. No bill comes to the table and you need to pay at the register. Overall, good, no...

I have been coming here for many years and my husband comes here at least twice a week.Today I did not have a good experience after I ordered my food which I was rushed to do I drove to the window to pay and the lady had my order wrong I told her that I did not want to enchilada plate she became frustrated when I told her that I wanted to take the item that she got wrong off.I also tried to ask her a question about something that was on the menu that I did not understand because it was in Spanish I guess if you're not Hispanic or Mexican or don't speak Spanish then they have a problem with explaining something to you. she was very impatient with me and began to bag up my food very angrily when she handed me my bag I sat it directly on the car seat I opened the bag to check my food and the cheese had spilled all over my bag. The lid was not closed on it properly I gave her back the bag and told her what happened while I was explaining it to her she closed the window in my face and had an attitude and tried to blame the whole thing on me I informed her that I didn't do anything but take my bag from the drive-thru window to the seat she was very very rude nobody helped me in the situation it seems like all of the people in there had her back but guess what I have a surprise for them. I have never been treated so rudely when I was spending my money at a...
